Definitely the villager. He's sooo good, and pretty fun and unique. His pocket ability (his neutral B) is very very cool. I'm also really liking Mega Man, his smash A moves are especially good. Oh , and his Final Smash? Flat out amazing
I've been mainly playing as Link or Mario, I usually play as Marth or Luigi so those two are similar. Do like Pikachu too. Mega Man is probably my least favorite out of the demo characters. Although the AI seems to play him really well.
Man I hate the controls. I played the demo for a few hours and my thumb was hurting. I replugged my gamecube and started playing melee and man the new Smash is disappointing .
You really gotta be able to execute Megamans smash moves in order to do well with him. He has some really good ones. Pikachu is okay, but he's way too nerfed now. He was OP in brawl (why I loved him in there) but now he's just way too weak. The Villager is just fantastic though
I've been solely using Link as that is pretty much my main. I was surprised to see him in the demo. I did give Megaman a try and couldn't really get a handle on how he performs, most of my attacks kept reverting to his arm gun.
Mega Man's B moves are all pretty weak ranged attacks from his arm gun (except for his up B) and they're all rubbish (except for his up B ). His A moves and Smash moves are where he shines. His down A is his slide, which knocks enemies in the air. Combine that with his Smash up or Smash down... And it's pretty devastating. His Side Smash is fantastic, you can charge up your Mega buster for some massive knockback, plus it's got great range for a smash move. All his aerial moves are pretty dang good too. I feel like Link got a bit of a buff this time around too
I was going to get it until I played the demo. I might get it later on if there's special content when you connect to the wii u version but as of now I don't want it.

My thumbs are killing me! I think I've tried out every mode now, but I'm still less than halfway through the roster of characters. There's a ton! See y'all on the battlefield!
I tried joining your game but you were mid-smash and I was just sitting in the punching bag room Right now my favorites are Greninja and Shulk
