Well of course it is. They very well could have done it for any other two games. Neither of them are "mainstream" so they are trying to generate interest in both of them. I've never played any of the SMT games. So I don't know what to expect. I may get it though, because its basically a $20 discount in a way, and I was already somewhat interested in it.
SMT IV is getting very good reviews. Most critics are calling it the best RPG on 3DS. It's supposed to be fairly challenging though- one reviewer compared it to Dark Souls and Etrian Odyssey. I'm going to pick it up, but not right away. Got enough to play already.
I'm glad that they are including people who already bought Fire Emblem. A lot of promotions lately have been excluding the 'early' buyers. If I do decide to get it, I'll probably preorder it and get the limited first edition. That way if I don't like it, I'll be able to sell it for a good deal.
I wrote a review of a link between worlds on amazon http://www.amazon.com/review/R2U2YZU9VHOH9B/ref=cm_aya_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00DC7G0GG#wasThisHelpful if you like it maybe click it was helpful?
Just got a 3DS XL, my hands are screwed up and the larger system is much easier to control, and have a rockin thick grip case coming in a few days, too. I saw the new leaf thread had gotten closed down, is anyone here playing? As for the new Zelda game, it's awesome. No doubt. I like this style a million times more than Ocarina and even more than wind Waker, plus the fact that it came with the system which looks very similar to my original Zelda game cart from when it came out. Good times.
Anyone looking forward to Super Smash Bros for 3DS and any other games that were announced at the digital E3 Nintendo event today? I certainly am!
I'm looking forward to Fantasy Life, drawing a blank on anything else that was announced at this years E3.
Don't be fooled; SMT/Persona games are known to be hard at the beginning. However, the more you advance in the game, the more you have a large variety of demons/personas in your compendium, which makes the game so much easier on the long run (except for a few difficulty spikes here and there). As a long time fan of the franchise (also purchase Devil Survivor on eShop if you're into tactical games with an SMT flavor), SMT4 was polarizing at best, even among the community; the world map is really confusing at first and you're gonna have to rely on memory a lot. I found the quests very original but sometimes you had to backtrack to the person who gave you the quest, and I forgot where they're located due again to the cumbersome map. Finally the game has 4 endings (bad, law, chaos, neutral as with every game in the series) and I think getting the neutral for example is so confusing if you don't have a guide; and disliked the fact subquests determine your ending; would have liked to have a complete 100% quest completion without worrying about them changing my alignment. All in all, of course I DO recommend the game, but I would understand if it's not at everyone's liking since even long time fans were a bit disappointed. PS : DLC is recommended for getting new demons and costumes.
I'm getting it this weekend. It got 5 stars on eShop and it's probably a good game to get while you're waiting for SSB4 or any other game to come out.
So I don't know about all of you guys, but man there are so many 3DS games I want that are coming out. Mainly: Smash Bros, Theatrhythm Curtain Call, Pokemon Alpha/Omega, Persona Q, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and Professor Layton vs Pheonix Wright. I'm so glad I got a summer job This is gonna be an expensive year...
