I'm having a lot of fun with this on my touch. When I first got it last night I was trying it on my iPad, and have to say really wasn't enjoying it. I think the controls just aren't very smooth on the larger device. Today I have been playing it on my touch and it's a much better experience. I really like how you aren't constantly moving in this game and can think a little bit about your next move.
Guys, this gem is from Venan (Space Miner) and it's playing in the Shawnimals universe. Two reasons to get this game NOW! I'm really wondering, why this thread is so quiet.
It's because 852 good games were approved by Apple yesterday. The best will rise to the top. This is on my shortlist for purchases on pay day.
Played around with it a little bit today and I am glad that I purchased it. It´s another quality title from Venan. The animations of the ninja are really well done, as is the background and the enemies. I like it that you aren´t pressed on to move and you can really think about your next steps. The only thing that´s a little bit of a problem is that it just takes a while to get really tricky. Maybe they should add another difficulty level that starts out with more obstacles. But I think it´s money well spend. Are there any news about updates with more stuff?
So, you want to know how good this game is without having played it? I also got A LOT of games yesterday... this is the one, I play the most. It's fantastic.
This is definitely the best game that came out yesterday. I just bought myself a huge moustachio plushy hahahaha! Finally managed to get a decent score of 1435. I can't seem to get off this game ;\
I'm still on the fence about this game Why? Partially because games like Bird Strike don't really hold my attention too long. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying this game is similar to Bird Strike, but still! Brownie points for anyone who convinces me to get the game with their fantabulous logic / convincing skills.
Will a review do the trick? http://toucharcade.com/2010/05/06/ninjatown-trees-of-doom-review-climbing-trees-and-fighting-demons-just-another-day-for-wee-ninja/
Another thing I think the game should have is a writen tutorial section that shows the different power ups and what they do as well as all the obsticles and what they do. I just passed a bee hive and had something chasing me but I had no idea what it was.
Probably but they are some funny looking bees. Anyone know what everything does? The bees chased me for a long time until they finally knocked me of a branch.
This is the most dangerous obstacle, since your really have to run away. At this time better hurry, with enough distance, they leave you alone. I love them, they are bringing some frantic action into this rather calm game.
