What are these walls the update talks about. Haven't seen anything new regarding the side of the tree. Any hints?
I love the new update. & as stated earlier, I hope more playable characters are added with future updates.
Picked up the game after a long, long time of hesitation/waiting/uncertainty. Heard the game's getting great feedback post-update, so i'm off to try it out now
+1 !!! I've just received a gift for this game from Chad (Doodle Army) and I must wait tonight in Europe to download it (I'm just working), can't wait to have a Doodle Jump killer
So i've been playing the game on-and-off for about 2 days now. Honestly, i'm not really feelin it! The game's cute, charming, interesting... yes. But - what Doodle Jump and Fruit Ninja have, this game doesn't. The game is fun but it's just missing that 'something' to make it great, IMO!
Aïe ! I will take my opinion tonight and hope I won't have the same feeling because I'm in love with Doodle Jump.
Fruit Ninja is my most-played game, amongst the 100+ paid apps I have on my iDevice. Why? Zen Mode keeps me coming back for more. I don't feel the need or incentive to climb higher and higher in this game, maybe because it's just not that interesting/rewarding... or maybe because it's just not fun! You climb, jump on trees, avoid enemies, get a power up... it's a good game, but not one that's making me come back for more. I think the major problem is the lack of skill required in performing the actual movements. To get a good score in Fruit Ninja's Zen Mode, you need to be precise about what you slice and how you slice it. In Bowmaster for example, you need to be crafty with your fingers to beat your opponents (in the harder levels) while aiming precisely. To progress in Tilt to Live, you have to out-manuever those damn Red Dots. Angry Birds forces you to think what to target and how to detonate a certain bird. Jet Car Stunts in itself is a mindf*** (in a good way, lol) which is why it's so addictive and fun. I could go on and on with examples but... again, i'm not really having fun with Ninjatown
Sorry has this been asked before? Is there any way to control the trajectory of the jump? I feel that its random. Sometimes the ninja jumps high across, sometimes he jumps almost flat across. Its really annoying on the stages where you have to crisscross between 2 alternate purple pool, something that should be easy but foiled because he jumped to high on to the next pool instead of the space between them.
Two kinds of jumps... Tap once on the other side of the screen will result in a lower trajectory Tap and hold on the other side of the screen will result in a higher trajectory ...if you're not sure.. just go to options and hit "reset tutorial"... and it'll explain this again...
I don't understand what you mean when you say Ninjatown doesn't require skill, yet you like Doodle Jump? I've come across segments in Doodle Jump that were all but impossible to actually pass, since the game has random layouts, where as every segment in Ninjatown is passable, but once you get to 1000+, they actually take timing and skill to traverse, unlike DJ.
You need quick hand(tilt)-eye coordination to progress in Doodle Jump. What do you need to progress in Ninjatown? Patience?
I have played Doodle Jump heaps and have never come across a section that is impossible to get through. Sometimes you get parts that there is only one chance to get past, and if you screw up the jump you fail, but there is always a way, at least in my experience.
Yes but your decision making 'frame of time' in Doodle Jump is much, much quicker! Ninjatown gives you the option to take your own sweet time to "think before you jump"... makes a world of difference, IMO.
Actually i find one part impossible. two poison pools on each side cant jump past em. But I love ninja town i got to 1000 and anti ninja. and It does take SKILL.
