    That's quite disappointing actually,I really thought that if somehow the game could make it's way to metal apps section that would be incredible for it's visibility on the appstore,I hope unity guys fix it for you please do mail them once and explain why it's important to you to have the bug fixed,I'm sure they'll fix it.:)

    Also nimian legends blows the zen garden thing 10 times over imo,really keep up the great work.I read you had some problems with crashing on the highest settings enabled perhaps metal might be the solution to the problem?Iphone 6 will probably have just slightly better performance than 5s according to the benchmarks.

    Update about the quality settings:
    Sorry, I cannot find it. I just went through all games I currently have installed, and none of them hit the mark.

    @dylanfan: Nice to see someone else stating the same, that Robert did a better job than mighty Epic with their huge resource pool ;)

    @Protopop: About Unity:
    What Dylan says. And hah, point out to Unity what you want to do (if you really want to follow my crazy idea), and that it would benefit them if they had something that shows Epic "wo der Hammer haengt" (German phrase, literally translates to "where the hammer hangs"; and means something like "where the real stuff is") . I want to say "wo der Bartel den Most holt", but I have no idea how to translate that properly :p

    Found another small graphics glitch:
    When you approach the Behemoos Pumps from really far away, flying above the water, you can see the giant wheel on the middle pipe ages before you see the actual pipes.
    Sounds like the far vs. medium culling you mentioned for the Nameless statue.

    Thanks! yeah, the wheel actually didnt have any culling on it at all (or batching, which increases performance) so you can probably see it from anywhere in the world:) Thanks for pointing it out - I just fixed it (im trying to finish the update in the next few days) and it'll be in v1.2

    I'm still really impressed by the gane,It's something that can claim that console quality graphics thing.Though there are things that still need to be fixed such as shadows and some of the textures otherwise this rivals oblivion in many aspects.
    I really hope that it utilises metal so that these niggles can be eradicated and so that more people can see the game on the appstore.I can go on and on as to why technically this is a real solid game but I'll save it for later.This game just shows what is really possible on the chipset and this is just work or a single guy,Maybe if some publishers may pull it together and get protopop and few other talented devs together we may have something special on our hands.

    hello protopop, just wondering will you update the game for metal?got the 6 now on hand, just want to try it and see how well it runs on the new device.

    It's strange that people are still saying it doesn't work on iPod touch 5! It does on mine. Takes a reboot to get it going but works fine. The only thing I've noticed since the update is the music in the tavern has speeded up apart from that it's still fine.

    Thanks for asking - there is nothing like encouragement for an artist:)

    Almost done - i have to finish the AI for the corrupted - they dont attack unless provoked and like to watch you from a distance. And then i am trying to fix the joystick playable area which loses some of its touch area if you switch resolutions in the fly. once these are done im ready to upload. But I'm very nervous because i have to use Unity 4.2, and i dont know if it will export to IOS 8.

    I also think that i will push the Android version up - release an android version right after this with a version 1.2.1 update. Because Unity has a bugf that is preventing me from upgrading to the latest version, i may have to make my sales in the Android platform instead. Anyways a lot of stuff to mull through - i am trying not to worry about it until i cross that bridge. I should be done at some point this week and will, post an update here:)

    Thanks! I definitely wont be able to use metal until Unity (if Unity) fixes this IOS terrain tree bug.

    Ive been asking them for a year so i don't know what is going to happen - but um keeping tabs on the bug and i have already started to look into alternatives in case they don't fix it, which unfortunately, the way it is going, i dont think they will. But if they do i will go right to metal, and hopefully that will let me use realtime shadows - which is pretty much the most major visual effect that is missing from the mobile versions of the game.

    I went to buy an iPhone 6 but its sold out, so i will try again next week when the local shipment comes in:) But see my previous post about Metal - unfortunately a bug in Unity has prevented me from upgrading for the last year and they dont seem to be able to fix it, so until they do i wont be able to try using metal for this game, and may not be able to publish any updates to IOS at all anymore. Im trying to find some solutions while watching Unity's updates and hoping against hope they will take the time to fix this bug.

    I hope they fix it as soon as possible,Btw in case they don't would it be possible for you to ugrade to newer version of unity that does support metal.Is this a possiblity or would you have to do terrain all over again?Any way you're a genius sir I'm sure you'll figure something out.

    There's probably a way in the future to have parallel conversational structure as opposed to the linear nature of a forum. hey get so long that after some point its like trying to read a corporations Terms of Service:) I think the forum itself has only been around for thrity years or so, so its a relatively new invention. It would be cool if we can develop a new way to organize this information and thoughts so that we can find out what we need by moving horizontally through the information instead of backwards and forwards only. Anyways this is probably a conversation for another type of thread:) But i thought id put it out there. That said, im really grateful to the Touch Arcade forum for allowing me to reach so many people and for the chance to hear interesting feedback, criticism, encouragement - all of it from interesting people like all of you who are here:)

    Yeah, that music speed up thing was affecting the earlier version, but i though i had fixed it by removing the extra audio effects that were pushing the CPU - im glad you mentioned it because im going to take a second look at the audio in the game before i post this update. thanks bigjack:)

    EDIT: btw i also noticed that in some gameplay videos the Tavern music doesnt seem to play at all when you first enter the tavern - i think update 1.3.5 is going to be JUST bug fixes and no new features:)

    To be honest, this is the scariest, most stressful thing i have faced in this whole game design project. If they dont fix it, then i wont be able to publish any updates because the game wont work on iPhone anymore UNLESS i remove all the trees, which, as you can imagine, isnt really an option.

    The only thing i can think of if Unity doesnt fix the terrain tree bug is to replace all the trees with objects, and then build some sort of custom level of detail script that will allow the 2000 or so trees in the scene to run on mobile. As you can imagine this is a last ditch solution, but im keeping it in mind. Thanks for the encouraging comment about my abilities - i hope that i can figure it out. The first thing will be to see if Unity 4.2 can export to IOS 8 - ill know that as soon as i submit this update to Apple so everyone please wish me luck:)

    BTW i THINK the bug only affects IOS and that i can publish to Android alright.
