This kind of support means a lot to an independent developer like me. Ive worked on games as a side hobby for over a decade, not making much money but doing it because Ive always loved to create worlds. Now i am selling a few copies which is great but what's even better is to hear from people in the gaming community, find out what you like and enjoy, and get your support from discussions liek this. So just a very heartfelt thank you to everyone. I'll answer a few questions but I also want to share this video - someone recorded a half hour of exploration which is really a thrill for me that someone too the time to do it. One is that the game only works on iPhone 5 and higher (although the iPad version is ready for submission to the app store) so there are a lot of crashes for people using older devices, which is understandable frustrating. I'm tryung really hard to optimize it for A5 devices with 512mb ram. It's really the ram that affects the gameplay most because of all the textures and althougb i do have it running partly on iPad mini, iPhone 4s in my home tests, it might require sacrificing a lot of gameplay and or objects/textures to support them - so thats still a work in progress and hopefully i'll be able to figure it out. The other thing is that its light on traditional quests on mostly just about exploration. There are events that happen as you explore, you can hunt any creature you encounter, you can earn new powers like the ability to fly (which a lot of people seem to love, me too) or teleport around the map. But if you're looking for an MMO attack fest this isnt it. But now that i have the framework in place I do have some additional mini-ventures to add to the game in upcoming updates so there will be some more traditional adventure included. Right now it seems to be resonating most with people who are into the explore-nature aspect, which i love because at heart i consider myself more of a World Designer (whatever that is) rather than a game designer - so we'll see where this goes Protopop Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Jul 21, 2014 1,265 178 63 #17 Protopop, Jul 22, 2014 Game designer here - thanks for the compliment It's mostly about exploration so although you can attack creatures, the focus is on discovering new views, gaining new powers through exploration that let you see the world differently (like flying and teleport upgrades) and finsing and seeing the wildlife (although yoi can attack and hunt almost any creature in the world if you want to).
