Finally got past Depths 2 and instantly completed Forest 3! At least I know I can unlock the next 2 characters they release with ease! SHould have all 3 star characters today as well, so I guess the game will be pretty much over except the odd Arena attempt :-(
Nice! I switch between TouchArcade1 and TouchArcade2 depending on the hero and leaderboards. For this one, I'm first for TA2 with 411 kills, and guild is 27th. I consistently make 20 tokens with Ta2, and 30 with TA1 when I feel I can make a good score. So if you're in TA or Ta1 and have difficulty to get in the top 30 of tthe guild, try to switch to TA2 every now and then
Weird, today I switched guild and my Arena score was resetted. No biggie since I made a new higher one soon, but that's the first time the Arena messed up for me.
I don't bother with the top 10 clans anymore, ever since the token payouts were democratised. 20 tokens is adequate for me, so I stick with TA2
Should try #1 guild TA then if you managed to score that high. Should be at least in top 30 and get 40 tokens.
As squashy discovered, it clears your score for the arena if you switch clans, so viksark would have to achieve the same score again. Safer to stay put and accept the 20 tokens already on their way than to risk them for the potential of more. (A bird in hand is worth two in the bush, and all that.) I'm happily running middle of the pack in TA2. (GCID is DarianWebber if any of the other TA2 regulars want to see me in their score list.)
I usually score 150/200 depending on the event. I guess this event is easy, and made even more easier for me with my 2 new level 3 heros I also like supporting having other TA guilds in the leaderboards (I launched TA1) and I like the idea of having TA1 in the top 10 and TA2 in the top 30 that are more accessible than the TA one which finishes #1. Finally, I don't play NQ enough to find myself needing way more tokens. So 20 or 30 tokens every 2 days with one or 2 arena runs os good enough for me
Had a pretty successful day today! Got all 16 converted to 3 stars now, and just got 449 in the arena! (would have been SLIGHTLY more had the game not spazzed out during a phone call). Also reached Courtyard 3 level!! Not much to do now until any new characters though :-(
The problem, even if they introduce new characters, is that if you still play the game in passing you'll probably amass enough gems to instant level 3 any new heros they put in.
Has anyone else had a problem where you try to make a U-turn but it does it so sharply that you end up killing all your line?? I've had it happen to me twice in the last few days and I am wondering if it a glitch?
Ah k. I was thinking in a normal 'snake' type game you can't hit yourself doing a U-turn like that...
Yes, happens to me often. Never struck me that it might be a glitch. Although I have a suspicion that it happens when I try a U-turn while slowed down by spider web. In the end, it was just Gurzog, swiping away at a sea of mages. Gurzog is a tank.
I've had it happen at normal pace and also the fast pace boost. Not when I've been slowed by the spiders. But I just found it interesting (and mildly annoying) because I die not long after XD
Has anybody beat Courtyard 3 yet? I'm using all buffs except the speed buff. I've managed to make it there with five 3-star characters. I'm scared to try the level. Barely made it out of Sewer 3
It's seriously tough with the armour of the knights! I've got everybody upgraded to 3 stars with all the buffs but I've not had any proper blasts at it to be honest because I was concentrating on gems to upgrade everyone!
