I think there could be a bit more to this game...every level is the same. I thought they would have incorporated mazes and other designs into it.
Can anyone (or group) list out the visual changes that happen with each character per level? I didn't immediately realize it was happening when I had first started level but I think it's a really cool touch and would love to know if we could compile the differences for each character as they level up.
Does anyone have a 3-star Uther yet? He supposedly should heal 'on hit'. Does this means he heals when he hits or when he gets hit? Also, does he heal other party members as well? Regardless, I haven't seen him heal at all...
I'm pretty sure he heals when he attacks the enemies, but I'm not 100% sure. Try to attack a lot of enemies while using attack speed power-up, say in the Depth1 or any higher stage, he should heal more noticeably.
Courtyard 2 with Gurzog as a lead hero and all other heroes are at 2 stars. All items are fully upgraded. But mostly just managed to get in Sewer 2. Without buffs, skip, and add hero.
Same here, when it goes well I can make it to Sewers 2, when it goes REALLY well I get as far as Courtyard 2. That seems to be impossible to beat without buffs though. Those healers...
I'd love to see this as well. It would be pretty simple for the devs to include (rotating?) pictures of each character's look on the Information page where it shows what upgrade you get when you increase the stars for each character. To keep a sense of mystery, the picture could be greyed out if you haven't achieved that upgrade yet.
Someone earlier in the thread said that it's a heal on hit roughly equivalent to picking up green gems. Nothing huge, but better than nothing. Only heals Uther.
Another thing I'd like to see from the developers is a chart for each level of each character, showing a numerical value for: Armor Attack damage Attack distance Attack rate Attack direction Probably a couple of other stats that don't come to mind.
There is a wiki for this game that has some character pictures. It doesn't have all of them yet , but most of them are there. I'd also like to see stats. The wiki only makes guesses at the unknown ones.
So I've beaten courtyard 2 but I can't skip it and try to beat the next stage. I thought once you beat a stage you're able to skip it?
The mouses are more troublesome for me. I find difficulties on every lvl with fast enemies like in graveyard sewer courtyard and depths. I prefer castle than courtyard, easier IMO. Can't skip the last 2 stages. You can skip courtyard after you beat castle.
I´m sorry, but I will never understand this IAP concept. Let´s face it: Despite looking nice, this game is just an endless grind. Levels are repeating over and over and if you are actually maxed out completely (by spending WAY too much time OR money for this kind of game) it just becomes a huge bore with nothing to do. The stages just keep on looping as long as you can go, there is no goal, no ending per se. "Call Of Snakes" does at least feature actual levels which you can try to perfect score, even if the graphics are not on par with Nimble Quest. The timers are stupid, yes, but the gameplay is very good. Why can´t developers just publish a finished game anymore? Are people really this greedy? I´m losing hope here. *sigh*
Kudos to NimbleBit's support My game crashed after freezing on the reward popup for the last arena. And I didn't get the tokens. As it already happened to me once before, I decided to contact the support through NB's website (don't forget your NB id in the settings). They resent me the rewards a few hours later with a kind word
Meh, what a waste of my gems! Won't bother upgrading that other healer then.. Only have Uther at 3-stars so far and the rest 2-stars. Any ideas for my next 3-star upgrade? Arcane? Hydra?
That is why I call him Uther the Useless. Arcane, Kishi, Hydra and Faenel are very worthy of level 3 IMO.
. I have a strong suspicion that there will be future updates to perhaps expand on what is an awesome game. Boss characters would rock. Imagine a massive zombie that requires multiple hits but can summon minions or healers. Or maybe I'm just a dreamer #
I think you may just be dreaming. They cut so much of what they had planned out of this game as possible to make it a super casual experience. I doubt they will reverse course. But your ideas do rock... it would be cool as well if the boss was stationary or there were some other stationary targets to kill besides archers. Heck imagine if there was a quest mode that played somewhat like an RPG with a big map to explore and quests to take and so on. I don't think it will ever have more in an update than a few new characters and some other minor tweaks. So it's just an endless grind that goes no where... sort of like most (though not all) casual games these days.
Yes, Super Casual is what describes this game the best, which is a shame because obviously the developer would be capable of so much more. I also second your ideas to the game, would be a good addition. Thinking about it, a lot of nice looking but shallow games are flooding the store lately, first RR3, now this. I´ve always enjoyed iOS Gaming, but I hope we will be seeing better products again and customers are not killing the platform with their greed. I thought the days of arcade machines are beyond us, oh well...
Arcades had 'em https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX40Q68_-PQ Ultraman Club - Tatakae! Ultraman Kyoudai Clip has the entire playthrough, but somewhere like 10:45 shows a boss battle. Definitely some ideas to spice up level design and add large bosses. If each character had their own levels and bosses to kill, I wouldn't need any other apps. Actually, if someone can convince banpresto to release Ultraman on iOS, I'd be down too.
