Use a program to access iDevices' files like iFunbox or iTools. Usually you just need to back up the Documents folder.
Well, I went into airplane mode and it did the trick. If it happens again I'll log off GC. Thanks for the heads up btw, does this apply to Pocket Planes too? It feels very laggy lately.
Well, I'm still holding out hope that one day this game will have a Quest mode or something that will give me a reason to play again more than just unlocking characters and leveling them up. Till then I'm free of the feeling of constantly doing the guild hopping game to build up enough coins to make longer runs since it's not on my phone to taunt me. iFunBox + iTunes on PC is typically what I use, but I have a license for iExplorer now so I will be checking that out and I might switch to it. I don't really trust the iCloud services (which this game doesn't have anyway) versus just doing it myself. Usually saves are stored in the Documents folder inside each app's folder... but I tend to just back everything up for an app. I also keep old versions of apps even after the updates come out just incase an update is bad/glitchy/etc and I want to roll back to the previous version.
Oh, I see. I was just talking out my ass, I don't actually bother to check what all the stupid little games I play on my phone connect to. There aren't even that many. I guess if was a problem I could always just play in Airplane mode all the time. I was somewhat right though, it is pretty much just usage metrics, right?
Do NOT play arcade mode in airplane mode. Recorded scores will not count. I put up a 330 in my run to test this. As my game still recognizes 330 as my high score, anything lower will also not get posted, so a 311 didn't count either. I'm curious to see if beating 330 will fix problem. Bug that probably could be fixed tho (only posting a score if higher than your local score and not comparing it to your posted score). For me posted is 170, the 311 was posted after reconnecting to GameCenter
If I have already activated the Attack buff at the start of a level, and i pick up another one as a drop, does the 2nd stack up with the 1st to give an extra boost?
I asked because I could not "check" on my own. I can't see any visible effects of the attack buff. My gut feeling is that an attack powerup has no effect, if you already have the buff activated.
You can try using fast characters. My lv1 Slash, lv2 Kishi and lv3 Arcane are much, much more aggressive after being powered up.
I'm honestly astonished by the amount of haters in this thread. NQ is a fun, mindless FREE game that surely doesn't force anybody to play it. I guess spoiled brats shouldn't be a surprise anymore, in this day and age. But it amazes me every time.
After a while, it stop doing that for me... But after all, its a snake-game, so perfect for interval in my life
Yeah, my first week with this game was spent all on playing it, other games were completely ignored. But now the grind is starting to feel less fun and more tiring. Nevertheless, I have faith in Nimblebit, and the game itself is still entertaining.
I don't think so. I've tried use attack buff every single level from forest1 until forest2 but the effect doesn't stack. The attack speed still the same as the first buff added. If it does stacks, then when you use the swiftness buff on the 2nd or the 3rd time you'll hit the wall in no time. So it means the buffs only increasing 25% max each stats. I do hope there will be the attack damage and deffense buff or item.
Hey guys not to get into this conversation deeply but just wanted to let you know It's not that I'm a spoiled brat, I'm just vehemently opposed to this type of game design. Doesn't have anything to do with this specific game. I just think it sucks and it should go away. It's a slap in the face to any gamer who remembers the days when games were designed for the player. People make the point that it's free and you don't have to pay anything or you can just not play the game. However, What they don't talk about is how it's hurting other developers who actually give a damn about creating good games And how they are using psychology to To manipulate players into doing what they want. Anyway I'm deleting this game and I won't be back to these forms. If you enjoy the game that's all good. Just wanted to make you aware of why some of us do not.
I really don't see how this game in particular would hurt other devs or manipulate players into doing anything or is driven by IAP. But you are free to quit and try other games. Happy gaming
I'm sure the devs for Call of Snakes (the game NQ is a partial ripoff of) wish they got the attention from the press and gamers that NQ did. It is sort of a pain to have played CoS and see how a few people are gaga over NQ and have little idea just how watered down an experience it is over CoS.
That being said, Nimblebit did a fairly good job at implementing their own ideas and they still praised CoS for inspiring their work. I do think they should give CoS some credits in Nimble Quest's app description or a link inside the game, but this topic is getting irrelevant.
Some unsolicited advice? Pay no mind to the trolls. No one else (with any level of intelligence anyway) does. If a game is unsatisfying or skewed heavily toward IAP, adults are going to comment on it. It's just common sense. You'll always get name-calling trolls throwing around words like spoiled, whiner, hater, blah, blah, blah... The sad, self-appointed fanboy champions of iOS gaming justice used to amaze me, but not anymore... DBC
