Yeah, I only brought up Call of Snakes because I wanted to know if the gameplay is similar (maybe sorry I did because I certainly didn't want it to become a negative thing). Anyway, I'm looking forward to this as well.
It was a good question and something that would get brought up one way or another. Hopefully the devs aren't too sensitive about it. Looking forward to whatever this game has to offer. Right now it's the game I'm most interested in getting tonight... which makes sense as my itunes account is drained to just over $2.20 at the moment so FF:V & that Runaway game are out of the question... though I will eventually buy them both. Weather the hacks are needed or not, I don't think that'll matter. The other nimblebit games were hacked to bits, I don't see why this one would be the exception.
I agree, anyone wary of the IAP here has never played a Nimblebit game before. Classiest dev studio there is.
Yes! Portrait or Landscape. I thought the unlock for the red gems was a bit expensive at 5 bucks, and wanted to support the Dev a bit, but didn't want to buy currency, so I opted to unlock the last character early, for a dollar. That helped give me a little boost at a point where I was really stuck (Depths I) and I've been having a lot of fun with it.
I've got to say, NQ isn't doing much for me at the moment- it doesn't seem like there's much game to it. It's all a bit of a repetitive grind so far. I'll persist with it, as my faith in NimbleBit leads me to think that there's hidden depth here and I just haven't found it yet. Fingers crossed....
I wouldn't say there is a ton of depth (though different characters have different styles). I think it is the sort of thing that either clicks with you or it doesn't.
I think you're right, and as much as I liked Snake on my Nokia 3310 back in 1998, I just don't think NQ is for me
What time is the UK release, just done my second session of Pocket Planes of the day, I had my sister on one of the flights the other day, except the name was Kathryn Fisher, and not Catherine Fisher (my sister).
The funny thing is, I can't stop playing it. I'm sure I'm going to start having my little conga line running around on my dreams before long. I'm surprised how much fun I've had with it, given I don't play a lot of fast action sorts of games.
NimbleBit, but if that doesn't work, search for one of the other games and click on Developer Info. The App Store search tool is a little quirky...
Just to let ya'll know... Snake is a clone of a game called SNFU. I remember playing it on my Texas Instruments home console
ya snake was a favorite of mine back on intellivision. it's hardly a new concept. the people crying foul are a bit ridiculous imo
