For that to work, wouldn't NimbleQuest have to be better than both Bomberman and Zelda? Pretty brave statement.
Misguided, thanks for the tips. I've been trying to focus one getting one character to level 2, but its taking an abnormally large amount of grinding. But I'm still pressing on. Just wanted to say that Call of Snakes is an amazing game and superior to Nimble Quest. As long as the sequel to CoS is not a freemium grindfest, I'll happily buy it at launch no questions asked. I think many people here feel the same way. No one in their right mind could say that it would be a rip off of Nimble Quest. You guys make some fantastic games. No offense to Nimblebit, but I put Magic Cube high on my list of best App devs. Way above Nimblebit (not saying They are bad, just MC is that exceptional).
Ok. Maybe I'm being a bit pedantic but I think all ads should turn off after a purchase. Or maybe once we have seen the ads a certain amount if times they could switch off ? I know all about all your other games by now ! Just to be clear it's a very occasional pop-up ad that I'm talking about that is quite unobtrusive anyway. It's just that it feels less of a premium product with ads that can't be removed. I really wouldn't mind paying a seperate IAP for this either but I assumed the red gem IAP was like buying the premium game. Devs : Please consider changing this in an update !
Why would they? They've got ya! Gabrien is always right. You ####ers are always tools. "Please help me be less abused by your abusive IAP model." The IAP model exists to abuse you. Chumps.
What a thouroughly unpleasant way you have of expressing yourself. Is the arrogance and sense of superiority that I get from your post intentional ? Why bring Gabrien into this ? Are you sure he would be happy with you throwing his name around to make your point in a thoroughly nasty post with little dog turd icons in it ? Anyway thanks for your input. My point is all ads annoy me whether they are for a Nimblebit product or not. I think the devs could improve the product by allowing us to remove them like you can in other games.
I thoroughly agree. It feels kind of cheap to be seeing ads in a game after buying IAP. I bought the IAP because I enjoyed the other games as well as this one, I don't need to be reminded about them.
For those who are wondering, it takes 500 kills to get a character to Level 1, 5,000 for Level 2, and 50,000 kills for level 3.
Either you're mistaken or i'm really lucky i have merida in level 1 with only 213 kills and blaze with 274
I actually paid for Call of Snakes to see how they compare to each other. I wanted to check how much of a Zynga style "rip off clone" Nimblebit had made in Nimble Quest. I played NimbleQuest first and only played Call of Snakes a short time. IMHO the two games are not exactly alike. There's a few vital differences that IMHO make the gameplay different enough to not be considered a Zynga "rip off clone" : Call of Snakes has healer units that randomly appear. NQ has none of these. It has healing pots that drop. This make the dynamics of keeping your heroes alive and healing them up different Call of Snakes has all characters available as leaders from the start (paid version) . NQ you have to unlock each in turn Call of Snakes has cool downs on the characters. Once you've used one you can't use the same character as a leader again. You die you have to choose a different toon as leader. Call of Snakes doesn't appear to have ways of upgrading your toons weapons and abilities. At least not that I can see It appears to be all guns in Call of Snakes. I couldn't see any other weapons other then guns, guns, guns, guns. No swords, daggers, shield or lances from what I could see Call of Snakes doesn't name or give back story's to their characters. I'm sorry but "Powerful Melee Unit" , "Balanced Unit" , "Heavy Armored Unit" doesn't make me care about the characters at all. NQ's characters have more personality then the COS characters Call of Snakes has a different , much smaller graphics style Call of Snakes has a Multiplayer option that to be fair I haven't seen in Nimble Quest Call of Snakes has a rocking rock sound track if that's you thing. NQ also has a nice score Call of Snakes awards more points for combo style attacks. The more you shoot in one go the more points you get Call of Snakes has enemy units that appear with a range marked in a lighter color. So you can see in which area they can shoot you in For me I feel that NimbleQuest has more re-playability and more personality to it then COS. COS feels like some Arcade game you pick up and play once. It's hard to distinguish between the toons in COS so there in it's hard to really care about playing any one of them. But again. I've only played Call of Snakes a short time - there could be more variety in the weapons at a later stage. There may even be ways of upgrading the toons. But without names it's just "Melee unit #1" or let's upgrade "Nameless healer unit". Just feels really bland IMHO. Not sure if the cooldown in Call of Snakes is removed once you get up to a certain level of the campain or not. That's a thing I would find annoying. So all my toons die in a short space of time and I'm now locked out of the game ?
Yep. Just died on all my toons in Call of Snakes as a test. Now everyone has a 2-5 Cooldown before I'm able to use them again. Or I could pay 2 IAP Cash to resurrect them. Each For someone that would be interested in doing a bit of griding with a variety of toons this would be an absolute deal killer. Nimble Quest however does not have cool down on it's toons. Or having to pay IAP to resurrect them.
Is there a way to exchange your tokens for gems? I can't seem to find one... Maybe I'm retarded and I don't know it yet?
