I like Gizmo as well, but I seem to get farther when I'm using a melee hero like Ulfrich or Bones and the mages and bomber throw thier projectiles at them while I graze along the sides of the enemy snake formations. Thank goodness they took care of those hackers. It was really gnawing at the back of my thoughts for some reason. Usually I don't care that much but I was in this instance.
So if you kill the leader of a group does your lead character get credit and xp for all 3 kills or just the one? And that's assuming you were the one to deliver the final blow. Because there's times, especially early on, when I can just tail the last one in the group and get more kills.
I wasn't going to bother with this but seeing people gush about it on here I thought I may as well give it a whirl. I does seem heavily inspired by Call of Snakes but I prefer the fantasy styling. I joined the Touch Arcade Guild (even though I'm not a particularly active poster) and am currently ranked 268 in the guild. Please tell me there are more than 268 people in the guild!!
Ah, thanks for the 2xp heads up. I'm still stickin with unless the leader makes the kill, it doesn't count, which makes sense as he won't get as many kills as party limit grows, even though they all count towards final tally.
Agreed, I get farthest with Uther or Merida the arrow girl (after her first upgrade), since you have to be in line with the enemy for their attacks to be effective. It really helps if they are your first 2 in line.
I know the bar at the top is your progress for level and it's based on the baddies. But anyone know what it means when there's a line in the bar? Seems to only be in the later levels.
Some game tips here, might be useful for some of us: http://www.gamezebo.com/news/2013/03/19/nimble-quest-tips-5-ways-master-nimblebits-new-game
Yes my reflexes aren't what they used to be so I'm going to unlock Hydra also . Plus I want to throw Nimble Bit a bone Does the courtyard music remind anyone else of Zelda ? And I'm trying to lvl each of the first seven characters up so I can have my knight up front and hopefully my ranged characters will mop up as I make those turns . At least before I try to go too far into the game and get creamed . Ha ha now that I think about it the trees in the forest stage remind me of a link to the past - on snes.
Me too! I knew I couldn't have been the only one who heard Zelda-ish music. Looks like there is a new case of the hackers goin on already. -.-
Where do you even find the option to put in a guild affiliation? I can't find the option anywhere. Edit: Nevermind, it's under arena.
Great minds think a like lol . I'm putting way more time into this game then I thought I would . Especially with all the other great releases in the past couple of weeks . I just didn't think this would 'grab' me as much as it has . Black Dawn is awesome , and I can't wait to delve into Fester Mudd - maybe it's just the simplicity of this one .
It makes no difference. Dead is dead. I like leading with Uther, especially with Bones or Ulrich right behind, though my best runs have been with others. Much later on, Gurzog, with Ember right behind, feels rather potent, since both are basically PBAOE.
Well after playing a couple hours today and leveling up my little heroes I must say I really like what nimble bit has done here . I haven't found the iap to be a problem - I have 25 gold coins and I haven't even been to the arena . Plus the gems for upgrades have been flowing like the mighty missisip Makes me want to try call of snakes - never played it .
There seem to be hackers in the game again. First place guild is no-name with 8,000,000. I'm gonna throw $5 at the devs because I've never made an IAP in their other games, and I've played Tiny Tower to pieces. I like that the red gem upgrade is permanent, which is why I'll throw them the bone
