So I want the Nike+iPod stuff. But can't afford the Nike+ shoes. I looked but cannot find the Nike+ Armband for the iPod Touch 2G. Does it exist?
That link Dave posted gave me an idea for a new Google search. Anyone try this out:? http://www.marware.com/PRODUCTS/Cases-for-Gen-2-touch/Sportsuit-Sensor-for-iPod-iPhone
I was gonna tell you you could just tuck it in your laces, but this works too. Or, if you really wanted, you could take the sole out of your shoe, hollow out a section, and put the sensor in there
True. Buy a pair of Nike shoes? But still, If they have a thick enough sole, it wouldn't be a problem.
They are Nike, just not Nike+. It's a medium sole.....................I just don't want to make a hole for something I use........say around...........1 a month? Sometimes I skip it for a month all together
Guess you won't be racing against those Kenya guys anytime soon? What about ripping a small tear in the inner fabric of the shoe and sticking it in there? Or does that not work?
There are many methods for using the Nike+iPod sensor with regular running shoes. Here's a good round-up of most of them: http://bit.ly/V5que Of the many commercially available shoe pouches and armbands, I'd recommend the Grantwood Technology "Tuneband" and "Shoe Pouch." They're well made and relatively inexpensive.
Try this from Marware: http://www.marware.com/PRODUCTS/Products-for-Gen-2-iPod-nano/Sportsuit-Sensor-for-iPod-iPhone I bought it for the iPod Nano and Nike+ adaptor. The velcro pod for the running sensor never came loose, and it works fine. They also sell armband for 2G iPod Touch here: http://www.marware.com/PRODUCTS/Cases-for-Gen-2-touch/SportSuit-Convertible-for-iPod-touch-2G
