that...IS GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay --"... That is pretty lame >.>...
Actually, 30 of the 40 are Apple's sub-team of App-approving monkeys. They throw them all the match-3, and line-drawing games to approve, and if they do well, they get rewarded with bananas and monkey porn.
Acually, after I thought a little bit... It could be true, maybe it's called FPS or something.. Maybe FPS is the name because they give us any other names for the game ... Bird is the word...
Actually they said 40 FULL-TIME staff. Its likely they have some part-time reviewers, and some automated code checking processes too. They also said 2 people check each update to ensure a uniform process. Also there's a review board that can decide on more complex issues. It also says 20% of submitted apps are rejected in their initial submission, mostly due to bugs/crashes. If anyones interested, you can read it here: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/apple-answers-fcc-questions/
I bet reviewing apps all day would be hell. You would be playing lots of crappy games, and testing mediocre apps. This is great news about FPS. I better get stuff done now before my productivity tanks in the afternoons.
In the ngmoco show part 5 I think you can find it on iTunes. At the start look at the white board in the background to the right says Fps names
why arent they releasing the name of the game. Is the name really going to be FPS......thats the dumbest name for a fps. And i think LiveFire is a great name.
