It doesn't because it hasn't. Yes it's been cracked unfortunately.

I don't play with any of those games, but the problem is not money.
Potentially I could buy a $50 videogame each day of the month and still have some money left for enjoying our lifes (mine and my wife's).

Certainly that's a good point, but I'm talking as a consumer, not a developer.
And if you read my message carefully, you could get that I'm according to you, from the developer point of view: "I also understand this is just the result of spoiled gamers who wanted everything for free or 99 cents."

Again, I'm happy for them making a lot of money. I wish all of us can be rich, but that's not my point. ngmoco is a succesful company, but I don't like their products. I believe there are succesful companies that, for some reasons, you don't like as well.

I just hope this is not the future of videogames.
I don't feel SATISFACTION with paying for winning or beating the game.

I feel satisfied if I beat Super Mario in one week.
I don't feel satisfied if I beat Super Mario in 5 days spending $X for upgrades that are necessary for completing that game.

It's not a matter of money. I prefer paying $50 for a full "classic" game then downloading one for free and have to pay $30 for beating it.

    Got the point?

I have a prehistorical image of videogames, a romantic image.

Really? Can you lead me to an article or a thread or something? I really had no idea that this was possible.

Guys you do realize that 'curious' people contemplating piracy might be reading this space. I would appreciate it if you can continue this conversation via pm :)

    That's incorrect Hodapp.

NGmoco sells dog food via downloadable apps. Those can be cracked easily.

The two types of DLC on the App Store are single purchase consumable items and add-on DLC that can be downloaded at a later time by anyone using the same iTunes account. The consumable DLC which I referred to in my post has yet to be cracked. The individual point apps are an entirely different story.

Hey, send me proof via PM. If you have any... since it seems a lot of this thread is just made up shit. I've already pointed that out twice. Now I'm not sure if TA gets money from Ngmoco but if they don't it looks like I'm right again.

Disclaimer: I don't like freemium nor Ngmoco's games but I can't stand the fact that you guys are flat out flaming them for trying to make a profit. The simplest solution would be to not buy the DLC, thus not supporting Ngmoco, thus showing your lack of support, and hope that they realize they need to change it up. If they have an option between lots of money and a couple angry ipod games site versus less money and more happy people, they'll take the former every time.

When I went to see how the DLC dog food worked just now, I clicked "buy" and it led me to an AppStore app...?

    1) We are trying to convince others to not buy NGmoco so that they realize they need to change, thus the purpose of these threads.
    2) You contradict yourself. In one post you say that NGmoco is in it for the money, and now you say they'll change and get less money to make people happy? Why not just change now since none of their games is in the Top 50 grossing (they might not be in the Top 100, but I can't check now)?

    1. Makes sense, but they don't give a flying **** about you. They care about $$$.

    2. your reading comprehension is astounding. I just showed a situation where they get more money and less happiness vs. less money and more happiness. And they would choose the former. Former means the first one, on or the one before it. Well if they aren't in the top 100 grossing they should change. Done. They SHOULD change. But they haven't. You cant control that.

No, I just posted the first time, then you posted your response while I posted my response and I hate editing a quote into a post so I double posted, then the third post was 'cause I wanted to see your rebuttal :D

Proof is on Youtube or Google. Just search for it it's not that hard to find. I would really like to stop talking about the subject as I don't promote piracy.
