yea i do, it's something like... you are minor pro? right? srsly, even U don't believe in what your saying? then i gotta tell u buddy, nobody does.

and the amount of people u were talking about is hardly relevant, it's more what u're saying that's... disturbing. if i wanna eat 60 hamburgers a day, i'm gonna do it! and i'm not gonna listen to ur BS about that i can't or shouldn't do it, because it will hurt me, because that's my right to do wtf i want to do.
and if i wanna game 46 hours every day, (yes, 46 hours) you're not going to stop me. same ****ing shit.

if i may correct you in your sentence "you should calm down :)" you should probably write this "yes, i am a noob, and it's me who should call down". It's not me who's wining about playing video games, it's you! so, calm down buddy.

(and this time listen to my advice about not embarresing urself)

well, why don't YOU make some money instead of being here on TA so YOU can beat the other players?
no, good thing about freemium is that you can't pirate, and since there's so many noobs playing pirates, thinking must be done by companies.
    AND GUESS WHAT? ngmoco did.
and they came with an excellent idea that benefits for the company, making a product to make money, so that they can survive as people and as a company, here it is:
    they make a free game.
    people try their free game
people who are willing to pay for more gaming, pay
people who wine about, still plays a little, and maybe buys
people who doesn't like the game, doesn't play it
and no, it's not like big daddy needs to give little sister 20 dollars, cause it's not cheats you're buying, it's playtime and upgrades.
What YOU'RE really wining about is that you can't play the game like a non-freemium game, and yes, that sucks. but these guys needs to make money, just like you.

YOU are the insulting and whining poster here. Also the **** shows where your willingness to a good discussion culture goes

And what is that a example "Eat 60 hamburgers a day" you seriously believe that this will be good for your body over time, higher risc of heart attacks etc. ... RIGHT :p

If the shoe fits, wear it!

Where do you get off? Spotlight was posting a perfectly reasonable opinion and you attack him in a rage of ignorance. How about learning some social skills and respecting other peoples point of view? It's the only way anyone's ever gonna respect yours 'cause when you reply like that it only encourages others to disagree with you because they don't want to be associated with that kind of ridiculous behaviour. This topic was inviting discussions from both sides of the board, if you don't like it you can leave.

Don't really care that much about Ngmocos business practices just wanted to say that DLC doesn't stop piracy at all.

Yeah I didn't think so. DLC stops pirates from getting DLC for now.

Lets try not to make shit up just to justify our argument. I consider that 'cheating'. Not that this isn't full of it.
    "Freemium sucks dood!"
"why? I don't need to pay for it"
"i dunno it just sucks shut up you get money up the ass from ngmoco"

But if you can find legit proof from a reliable source I'd be willing to accept it and take it back.

EDIT: shit sorry I didn't see your edit

EDIT 2: Well I see where he is coming from there. Why NOT just sell the game missions as DLC? Not a bad idea, for the consumer of course. They did that with rolando two right? Maybe it didn't earn them enough profit, who knows? Or maybe they are being greedy? I really cannot agree with them being greedy, they're just trying to make a living. Insurance company prices, taxes, and more are considered by many to be way to much. But in order to keep the United States up and running they need to give out high taxes, to an extent of course. Same with insurance companies, although they are pretty douchey when it comes to their CEOs and their limits on the amount they'll pay for your injuries (defeats the point fo insurance doesn't it?).

But now I'm getting way off track. You can't directly relate the company's and government's high prices to freemium though. Those are neccessities, this is not. Hell this is free. Don't pay for it.

I don't think his example correlates with your post though. It never says that DLC doesn't stop pirates, it does ASSUME that though.

ok a quick google. looks like when you buy a DLC it gives you a store receipt. so you just have to spoof that and you will be able to download the dlc.. from what little research iv done.

will try not to be aparrot in the future. sorry for being a tool.

For what it's worth, the consumable DLC purchases ngmoco uses to buy energy, dog food, and mojo have yet to be cracked without resorting to flat out credit card fraud... Which hardly counts as cracking or pirating.

Well, by what I've just read (this page) I have one thing to say to you all: you're all retarded.

Now, that's just from reading this page, so I don't know what you guys did in the page before this one and so on. Anyways, this is what you guys have got to know:

    - Excessively bad Grammar/ Spelling makes your argument invalid.
    - We're not arguing about DLC. If NGmoco wants to make a game free and then sell the full game for DLC, so be it. That WILL stop piracy. What WON'T stop piracy is the crap they're doing now, which is basically making people pay money over and over again just to play the game more often. That's garbage.

You know an iDevice company is ripping their consumers off when they end up charging more for a game than an XBOX 360 game.

I can honestly say...you're retarded. Maybe if you read more than two posts you'd have realized the guy with the shitty grammar was on your 'side'.

You seem to forget that PEOPLE NEED MONEY TO LIVE. NGMOCO IS FULL OF PEOPLE. Why don't you go ask your parents to give up their jobs so they can spend more time with you? Wonderful wouldn't it be? BUT HOW THE **** WOULD YOU SURVIVE.

yeah i fail at english. and that guy has gone off on me before for typing by standards instead of bystandards.. so it would not matter what side i was on.. and look. a hell i do not care anymore. im for DLC if the core game is solid.. and the dlc adds to the game... i just do not care for ngmoco.

Again I must say I couldn't care less about Ngmocos business practices, but I must repeat that DLC does NOT stop piracy at all.

I don't think grammar the spelling really matters, but rather the thought behind it. Although bad grammar and lower intelligence do correlate, it's not 100% true.

In an ideal situtation I'd love to see all the 'good' (not inherently evil and those who produce good apps) devs do well, but that cannot happen (thus ideal). I just hate seeing a dev(s) being bashed simply because a bunch of ignorant teenagers don't see why people make games. Its for money people, money. As distastful money can be, it's what makes the world go round. You need it.

Plus this thread is full of full on flame comments rather than actual discussion. Everything these whiners come up with is pretty damn opinionated. I'd like some one intelligent and strongly against freemium to list WHY they don't like freemium. I bet you'd see a lot of "ngmoco is greedy" "we don't support greedy devs" and "the games are bad".

On "the games are bad". Why do you want to play them if they're bad? if you don't like it, then delete it. No harm done. It's FREE.

You mean Eliminate? I'm referring to products like Cogs, Fieldrunners, and others. If I misunderstood Brazilian I apologize.

I think I did, I just hate when others think DLC that you actually keep is a better alternative for Ngmoco to make moolah.

Well this thread is on freemium so I assumed you meant ngmoco's games. But I haven't heard anyone cracking DLC yet (I may be behind), so I'd like to know how DLC wouldn't stop piracy on fieldrunners, Cogs, and others.
