Well it's been confirmed that it has been submitted. The way they said it sounded like it was actually submitted a day or two ago. Question: So is there really NO offline play for this game? Cause that's a deal breaker for me. I really want the game but currently, for some reason my wifi signal is strong enough to get on my computer but my iPod Touch couldn't find it to save it's life.
No offline play. There is a single player mode, but you do have to be signed into the network in order to play it. This feels sort of sloppy in my opinion, but the app still looks worth getting.
Thank you Peter That is great News. Mary Jane did say there was a single player mode but she did not say about offline.
Unfortunately, I think she did specifically say that there wouldn't be an option to play without out being connected to the server. It is a shame, especially for iPod Touch users.
That is good, and I'm sure a lot of other people do as well. And iPhone users don't have to worry about it at all. Still, for a single player game to require wifi seems like sloppy work. A lot of people aren't going to have ready access to the internet all the time, and to leave those potential customers out is a mistake, in my opinion.
I agree with you. People with no internet should beable too use. Alot do not have it. My husband just knows alot about anything tech.
Depends. I live in a smaller city with limited wi-fi options. The library. Borders. And a small block downtown. A few scattered coffee shops, too. In general, when I'm out, I don't expect to have internet access. I do have a wi-fi router at home, though, but even that does not cover the entire house.
I really hate how they dont have a offline mode. I was so shocked when i read about only being able to play around wifi. I dont have wifi all the time but im so disappointed. Ill still be picking this up but i just dont think they made a good choice. I hope they make it possible for a offline mode in a future update.
