Regardless of whether or not this move will benefit their business, this time last year Ngmoco were loved and praised by all... they sure ****ed that up.

Maybe Freeverse will become a section of ngmoco that doesn't make freemium games?

Neil Young (ngmoco CEO) told Tech Crunch that he plans to turn some of Freeverse's catalog over to freemium.

ngmoco has finally lived up to its name. They're now the equivalent of neon-green boogers.

I really hope that this isn't a sample of things to come. Freeverse first, who's next? Before we know it, the freemium model could be the norm on the app store... God/Jeebus, etc, I hope not!

Developers have to make money somehow, and when people will only buy games that are 99¢... They've got to do something else. Both iPhone gamers and developers made their bed, now they've got to sleep in it.
