Same here... If I had a 3GS it would be a tougher call though. I can happily wait til next summer and then upgrade to the real next gen iPhone.
Youv got to remember tho-all that was different from the 3gs to the 4 was shape and display So it is a big jump from 3gs to 4s Plus i may keep getting the s models Cos i'm super lol
After giving it some thought, I think I'll be going with a Samsung Galaxy Player after all, it's not very powerful, but it has some nice things going for it that my iPod doesn't have. It would suck if they announce the iPod Touch fifth gen this year(doubt it), but I would probably still buy it even if I had a SGP... The SGP will help with waiting for the Vita to hit the US, which is what the iPod Touch 5th gen was supposed to do.
It just has some neat things, that I've wanted the touch to have, might not be important to everybody, but off the top of my head from what I've read about the device: FM Radio Better audio/video code support Removable battery File transfer via Bluetooth Larger screen(4 inch or five inch, I'll be going with the five inch) Expandable memory LED camera Flash I think it has GPS and supports vibration, but I don't really care about that a whole lot.
The expandable memory does sound good, that's the only thing I don't like about my Touch. Are you planning to get it in addition to or instead of your iPod?
In addition to my 4th gen iPod Touch, I'm not selling it and like I mentioned before if a iPod 5th gen comes out I'll probably get it if it's a nice upgrade.
so thats why they made the ipod in whit this time around, they probably did not want to even spend that kind of money on the product.. but figure they had too.. so people will know you are rockin the newest. pfft.. i like black.. Yeah I see what you mean, I like collecting these gadgets I guess We'll see how the SGP stacks up against the iPod Touch, maybe I won't like it and I'll end up selling it.
If anyone cares, I have decided to keep my 2nd gen Touch until I see something announced about a 5th gen or an iPod with a somewhat meatier upgrade. Pretty crazy, what with all the games slowly leaving the 2nd gen behind, but I will attempt to survive through this storm.
Ehh, yeah true... but I'm talking about if there's no iPod touch upgrade for another year, there may be quite a few games that I'll miss out on. But yeah, you have a point.
one thing is for sure i would not bother to upgrade the ios.. when i did that it slowed my devie down.. sure they eventually fixed it but it was never as fast as it was before the ios upgrade when ipod 4 came out. i do not remember what version of ios that was and mine is broken so i cant look.. i guess i could be a real cheap wad and see about getting it fixed.. lol chris.
