I was just wondering if anyone (like me) was planning on buying the next gen iMac and iTouch when they come out.

I have heard rumors of a camera, microphone, and other features that may be added to the iTouch, but what about the iMac???

The 3rd gen iTouch is probably going to come out in early September, the iMac's release date, on the other, is not known yet.

Basically, there is more excitement and knowledge about the upcoming iTouch than the upcoming iMac. I am actually a lot more excited for the iMac, because (as fast as my uni-body MacBook is) I could use the extra speed. The iTouch would be more for fun.

Does anyone else have any thoughts on these upcoming devices (I know the iTouch has been talked about before, but I don't think the 12th? gen iMac has)???

I'm going to want the new iPod touch if it has a camera. There are so many times when I have my iPod touch and am like, "Damn! I need a camera!"

I'm sure you can relate. :p

I know how you feel!!! I am guessing it will come out in January when iLife '10 comes out (I am don't know anything about the Apple events, so correct me if I am totally wrong).

Yes, a camera would be fun, especially if it had the PhotoBooth affects built in :p

Yes, the economy isn't the best right now, but it Apple products are still selling well. So long as Apple keeps coming out with new stuff (every once in awhile), they have my sale.

Hold on a minute! There is a such thing as an educated kid! Not all kids sit at home and watch TV/play video games all day. Some (I agree, not very many) do study hard and do studious activities :p

My apologies - A lot of the teens on here are good contributors to the site (yourself included), its just been my experience that most of the kids on here are immature individuals who want everything handed to them on a silver platter (i.e. groaning about game prices that go much higher than .99)
Granted, I'm only 22, but I see a huge generation gap between people my age and older and teenagers today

I do have to agree with you. Some younger people aren't very mature and I don't like it either.
