Nexomons do have a move pool though, they can activate/deactivate skills to their liking so even if two of the same nexomon share the same stats they might have different moves during battle.
Please tell me game supports 4:3 ratio for iPad so it's just a bug that users seeing letterbox (black bars at the top and bottom). PLEASE TELL ME IT IS FULLSCREEN. I cannot believe I have to ask this for so many titles, it's like not having resolution option on PC.
Yes it does to an extend, the rest is luck. Super rare and above are harder to catch. Depending on user feedback we might factor in more things for the success rate in an update.
I agree about them being harder to catch makes it feel more rewarding when you do. As for the skill tree's so far I'm really liking those and tha fact I can pick whichever 4 skills I want to take with each nexomon as a lot of games don't often give you much choice especially on iOS. Although I do feel like status effect attacks miss a lot, I'm sure to me it feels like they miss 80% of the time so I usually end up just picking damaging attacks because the others miss so much. Mistrallion was my gold box which is typical as I picked Fethra at the start. Oh and I'd also like to be able to edit nexomon names, it offends my O.C.D that their names are all in capital letters.
No problem been waiting a very long time to play such an awesome game the last game I enjoyed was SAO memory defrag when it came out in January and still playing it too but haven't been playing for the past couple days
And actually I forgotten that cat quest came out but it went like this first SAO memory defrag then cat quest then nexomon but I gotta say 3 awesome games for me that came out this year so far
Catching Rates This game has high quality aesthetics and feel. I bought the skates, exp share, and rare trinket to support further development of the game because I see a great game here. However, the catching rates are absolutely atrocious for anything other than a common nexomon. I have tried to catch super and mega rare nexomon (when they have almost no health left, put asleep, etc) on multiple occasions with 10 traps or more and none of them succeed. It's not rewarding for me personally, whatsoever. It feels like an extreme chore to grind enough to mass purchase a ton of traps and waste them all trying to get 1 nexomon. The purpose of a game like this is to feel like you can catch them all, and honestly, you realistically can't unless you buy gold traps. It's very discouraging and goes against what makes Pokemon-like games so great. The possibility of collecting every creature you work hard to find. I'm very disappointed and I want to know the statistics of catching rarities of Nexomon. I feel like it should be known to us players so we know what we are up against.
Hello Kindmind! We will make the adjustments to make it easier soon. We are not here to deliver a bad experience on purpose. The game will evolve with feedback like yours. I've read comments about the catch rates, and right now is our top priority to fix. Like I said, this is not a system to make u buy golden nexotraps. It just needs to be balanced and we will.
To our defense, there were no major complaints during beta about catch rates, we assumed it was fine. Let us make it right

Hey guys what would you say the legendary pull rate is? Not sure how many in game are. Once the wiki is created I'll know unless you guys have a comprehensive chart of all rarities and Nexomon. Trying to grab a legendary from a gold pull. Did about 10 so far ^.^ Just curious if there's a pull rate %.
I appreciate your timely response! It means a lot. I really hope you guys re-evaluate the catch rates. That's honestly the only problem I have with the game at this moment. I understand that it should be harder to catch higher rarities but more than 15 traps per nexomon (without capturing it) is a little crazy. Ha ha.
Absolutely loving this game! If you didn't do it yet: buy it! I myself have spend 9 traps on just a rare mon and had to backtrack a few times after I got more traps to get the ones that escaped before! To me it feels very rewarding to finally manage to get them! But so far I only met and caught 2 Super rare and nothing above that. The rates seem a bit low and it's bad that sleep etc doesn't help currently, but the basic premise, that you have to work for them and maybe even throw 10+ till you get one is fine for me! If I would have to throw 30+ to get the ones rarer than super rare we probably have to talk again though! # The IAPs and some legendarys not being catchable right now are fine and fair! Possible Multiplayer is awesome too! I will definitely spend more on iaps down the road! I do have 2 "complaints" though: 1. There is not too much Infos about skills other than their stamina cost and a hint on a status effect they do. No strength/hit rate! Would like to see that to make my decisions. 2. The bigger one is a bit strange cause I kinda ask you to take something away from us now #. I feel the xp share item is way too powerful! I know I can switch it off, but why did I buy it then? I can't give it back to buy sth else with the gems... the xp share item breaks the game for me. It actually gives you 6 times the experience from every battle... if you balance the game around not having the item and suddenly players get 6 times as much xp it's insane! I actually run around and just flee every fight cause I don't want to get too strong! I am already stronger then every tamer around me and the game loses every challenge like that! Why don't you do It like this somehow: The first mon gets 50% of the battle exp and every other gets 25% or sth. That way you still hand out more xp than players without the item get without totally breaking the game! For now I play with the item turned off but I wanna lvl all my mons, not just the first...
Pokémon even has XP share. It doesn't break the game IMO. I'm about 10 levels above some of the mons and they still kill me. The balance is perfect in that respect.
Hm, I feel like my comment was too much complaining and too little praise! The game deserves more. Just wanna say I totally love the art and music and the writing is actually good too! Had to laugh quite a few times about some comments the little robot did^^ didn't expect that! And so far even the story which usually is more of a weak point in those games is pretty good! Wanna know more about it while I try to catch everything that runs around!
In Pokémon they take 50% of the exp the first Pokémon would get and give that to another Pokémon! Not like it's here where u actually give 100% to every single Nexomon... that's multiplying the gained xp by 6
I would like to be able to hold my finger down and view what a skill does during battle but it's fine to just manage that through the skills screen anyway. Wanted to say how awesome this game is on my phone it isn't a battery sink and doesn't heat up my device at all, I'm only 2 hours in so far but great in that respect for sure. Also on catch rates I feel common should be easier as the traps are pricey to me at the moment but then I'm stocking up on everything. But I don't mind grinding gold out to get more, it certainly does make it feel more special when you catch something that is really rare. It's just a balance as you say between reward and frustration and not an easy balance to attempt.
After playing a while my fears were confirmed. Let me say this a great looking game with lots of potential. Now, yes dev we realize you can play and complete the game with no iap. These games are meant to be a grind and that's fine that's part of the fun. This catch rate though is so bad it's the bad kind of grind. Almost to a point where it makes me feel pressured to buy golden nexotraps. I'm sure the attract necklace works the same way. Without the necklace the chance of finding legendary nexomon will be about .001%. (Just my guess). My suggestions - 1. Fix catch rate 2. Option for disabling gyroscope 3. Add option to turn battle animations off (for faster battles) 4. Add option to adjust dialog speed 5. Add option to skip cutscenes. I don't regret my purchase but I'll be waiting for an update until I put more time into this game. Good luck everyone.
