The last thing u said is true. They basically just allow you to go back and catch monsters you missed!
That's highly unlikely unless you are opening the same box without deleting your save file. So far most of duplicates if not all were due to this. If that's not the case this would be a first and if someone else reports it we will take a look into it. Sorry about that and thanks for the support!
The game is linear, you can you the totems to travel anywhere in the second half of the game. We will add mode areas to explore later on.
So opening the same nexobox without saving will still give you the same result? I got a rubbish nexomon in a gold box so I closed the game about 4 times to try again and got the same one each time.
Yes, the dev team confirmed it locks the pick to your game before it shows it to you, so no matter how many times you reload it will be the same. This is a good method of preventing abuse, and a pretty common practice with any type of random draw model.
Thanks for the response! Nope, I didn't quit out to try and cheat the system. Purchased three boxes in a row and retrieved the same Nexo. Was definitely bummed. Looks like I won't be winning the lottery anytime soon.
My suggestions and observations: *& for and because of character count* Shop: - Ability to purchase max items that your coins allow (perhaps pressing the down arrow goes from 1 to the max amount i.e. 20). - Ability to sell items back (for a fraction of the cost), perhaps 40% or something. - Some shops sell different items, no point showing max potion early on when a normal potion will fully heal your Nexomon. Or some shops with better stat improvement items or something. This will make you want to re-visit other towns as I have barely gone to other places, besides to catch megas. Battles: - I think speed should be counted on all battles not just a pvp thing. I beat the game for free & had no trouble with being hit first. I don’t see a point in handicapping one of your stats just to make it easier. Games like these are meant to be challenging, that’s what makes them worth playing. - I had an idea that the nexobox could spin out from the player to the nexomon like a Frisbee in a sense & then keep spinning on the ground as its being captured. Perhaps you could make an animation where it shows the trainer actually throw it. - On that note, I think the update that made it easier to capture nexomon was a big mistake. I think that because I can catch a mega rare or start with under 10 nexotraps, now tell me what is the point in me buying any golden nexotraps? Why waste money on that when I can EASILY do it for free. I think you are fighting yourself with that one. Especially with mega rares & starters, they should be hard to capture, it should make you want to buy a golden nexobox, or have to use 30+ or so nexotraps *THATS WHAT MAKES THEM RARE*. I caught all the mega rares, in 40 mins yesterday. ON THIS NOTE, I think the implementation of different nexo traps would be wise. Gold is 100% rate, perhaps ultra (like in pokemon) would be highly necessary for mega rares & legendaries though still hard to catch. Gives the game more variety. - I'd like to see enemy stamina, perhaps under their health bar. That way when they run out they flee & it forces you to defeat or capture them faster. (yes like pokemon) though for mega & legendaries etc, perhaps they only use half their stamina against you per attack in wild battles. That way they can’t flee too fast before you can get them. Or legendaries have the ability to replenish when they run out. - 'Heavy Monsoon' attack sound effect sounds really weak & doesn't correlate to the attacks power. - Why is Disruption ray 5 ST more than Heavy monsoon and the other powerful attacks? General gameplay: - I think the speed with skates is way too fast. I would recommend slowing down normal speed & then adjust skating accordingly. This would also increase the play time to get from ‘a – b’, albeit not severely. Also, the skating animation looks like its lagging because of the movement speed in correlation to the animation. - Another note on the skate is that your pet can’t keep up with you & because they follow the same movement pattern as you, you can run rings around them & stop & watch them following every move trying to catch up. Looks bad imo. - You should make all blocked igloos, houses etc. open to enter, though there doesn’t need to be anything inside. It just seems weird one igloo isn’t accessible (like when you first enter frozen tundra, across from the health centre) yet some are. Or the house right off the boat when you enter the palmaya beach town. - Make mega rares stronger & rarer than starter pokemon & rename starters to starters & not special. This will promote the use of them otherwise why use mega rares when starters are stronger. In this scenario, the problem would be reversed. Why use starters instead of mega rares. Well, mega rares are more rare & powerful on the one hand, but to still promote the use of starter pokemon, you could allow them to learn a certain skill each that only starters could learn? & to do so they need to go through a certain storyline (quest) to get them. - In your totem poll map, you should place a little character to show where you are. I wasn’t very aware of what town I was in when I first used it & it would look nicer. - A map you can acquire mid game maybe & view all the locations (or show ones as locked that you havn’t been to yet (like in the totem poll), perhaps just a carry version of the totem poll map (though you could go more indepth like pokemon, with roads etc.). - Another separate item that shows the location of nexomon, BUT only ones you’ve seen. That way it fills out as you see them & you don’t automatically know at level 1 where to get all the best nexomon. It would also add extra locations as some nexomon can be found in multiple places. - I also feel that you should remove evolved mega rares from locations. Seems silly me catching a Perchara at a low level when I can just catch its fully evolved form in frozen tundra & not have to bother levelling it up. Unless you make it so its stats work out better when you catch it pre-evolved & put in work to level it. (yes I know people will want to catch both for database but the same would happen with just evolving Perchara over & over). - I definitely think you need to be able to view nexomon information at the screen where you can send to storage or add to party, this should be a mandatory update. You might be between two cities & open a box & not know if it’s rare or not & add to party, only to realize it’s a common nexomon. - More fishing spots! - Critical hits! though if added normal hits may need to be lowered (or health raised) so you don't easily KO nexomon. - An Idea to find items your nexomon can hold (like in pokemon) to increase speed or strength etc. - Innate abilities that a nexomon has. I.e. naturally faster or something. - Compare button would be good & it loads two nexomon information sheets side by side on the screen. Something like that is really useful especially when you catch a nexomon or at the computer in the health centre. That way you can pick who to deposit & withdraw with better information. - You should think of making areas much bigger i.e. before desert town, you pass through a couple small paths & are already in the city. This would also allow for placement of more entities & npcs to battle. - Adding surfing would be an amazing feature! It allows you to expand on all the areas without having to add the same old paths & grass again. You could do as much with surfing as you can with normal areas & they are excuses for secret areas, legendary nexomon, items etc. - The exp share is too OP that it doesn’t divide exp & it just gives everyone the same. Especially now its super easy to level. Story: - I personally really didn't enjoy the voice over story, sorry. The Voice felt forced and unaturally *EPIC*. - After beating Omnicron, all the npcs are stuck on the same storyline as before you complete the game. I assume this is because of no expansion yet but it seems a little silly. Especially in places like the restaurant in palmaya beach, which is just deserted. - I think it would be great if you had secret areas. I.e. parts that look inaccessible but actually are due to the way entities are placed on the ground (NOT that you can walk through entities). - Things like an npc saying “All I’ve ever wished to see is a Ventra (or other nexomon, doesn’t have to be legendary)” & then when you talk to the npc with ventra as your first nexomon, he/she replies in kind & gives you something. Or something along those lines. I think these things keep people playing & wanting to discover the little knicks & knacks of the game. It would also promote media & online talk about the game for people discussing what secrets they’ve found etc. - I suggest you engage a storyline for the houses that “seem to be locked”. Is this what the keys part in the bag is for? - Also storyline for other things, like in the solus desert town. There's an npc that stands guards a ladder, perhaps you could make a story line to get them to let you down & when you go down & travel through the cave you vs the ground legendary you previously fight in that town, or a shiny nexomon. That could be a way to introduce him for capture. Or at least for an item or location to catch nexomon that aren’t found anywhere else. - With the nexomon levels. I beat the game at level 54. I feel that you should perhaps cap the game at 60-70. That way you can make it so when you release the next expansion, you will cap at 100 by the end of that. But make the nexomon need much larger exp per level so it follows the towns. I also think you should increase the time it takes to level your nexomon, as I would just go through town to town without ever need to grind my nexomon levels so that I could beat the overseer in each place. I also think a cap at 99 now is silly because when you release the next expansion, what will the cap then be? 200? & then the next 300?. I feel you should raise the exp needed, cap now at 65 or something as you don’t even need near that to beat the game & that way you have a lot of levels to play with before the completion of the next expansion. Kind of like how WoW does it. & that way a level 100 is obviously much more powerful than an 80 & makes it worth the grind. - I thought that after defeating Ventra at the top of the tree, I could return & climb the vines that were behind it & get to an area where you could actually battle & catch Ventra. I was disappointed when those vines didn’t work. - Some areas I think have too many healers before the town. I think if you can’t make it to the town on your own, then that means you aren’t high enough level to get there yet & need to grind a little. This would also increase play time. - I’d like to see an area on a boat, like the one you had but where you can explore & battle to find rares etc. - Unlock certain area, features, skills as a reward for capturing all nexomon, or all non legendary nexomon (so it's not a premium thing). Let me know what you think.
dev great game. you've made so many changes to please the very demanding crowd here. can't please everyone. I hope you're not getting too stressed by all these ridiculous requests. just do your thing. i swear, all these people with tons of requests and demands for a $3.00 game. and you are catering to all of them so they keep asking for/wanting more, but in the long run this is the kind of crap that will turn devs off to being as active as you.
Yeah you're right. The devs have absolutely delivered what they said they would at this point and now should relax a bit and count the cash or whatever. People suggesting things to better the game is one thing, but expecting personal preference changes and additions like you own the game is another. Right now the game is complete and balanced fairly. Any further content added from this point on should be looked upon as a bonus, not an expectation.
Bug: - Sometimes when a nexomon confuses my nexomon on their turn, it will show my nexomon as confused but then ends as soon as it's my turn. PVP: - I also had a suggestion for PVP (unless of course its already being done) that players can't use heal items in battle. Or even all items i would be down for, that way its purely nexomon vs nexomon. This may just make confuse and sleep effects etc. OP in PVP so would have to think about how to balance that if no items.
Anyone else having serious trouble finding the wind starter? I'm in the cave, seen several spinks but no fethra. All my guys are already at level 13!
