Universal Nexomon (by LIME TURTLE, INC.)

I know I already asked a question and now I'm asking another before that one even got a reply but did anyone find there's a best starter to pick or is preference fine?

By that I mean sometimes on other games your pick one type like grass and then most of the enemies at the start of the game would be fire and the ones to catch would mainly be grass making it a poor starting choice.

Are there any IAP, or is everything available in the game without throwing more money at it?

 

A nice update would be where your in a trainer battle and your monster gets exp once you defeat one the of nexos and genders too

 

There are, but everything is optional, you have access to all content, iaps only facilitate or are cosmetic.

There are 2 kinds of legendary nexomon, story and non story related. The story ones can not be catch in the wild, the non story related can be captured without any iaps. You have a chance to get the story legendaries through nexoboxes though (iap, this is random) but we will later add events to catch them without the need of them. Assuming we do well at launch.

 

What exactly do you mean story driven legendaries? Legendaries without the use of which we will not be able to proceed the story? Cause if this is the case then that is a no go for me. I do not mind the iaps as long as there is a meaning and not infinite money throwing. If i have to pay real money every time i want to find a legendary then that's bad. Apart from the iap thing that is holding me back for now the game looks really really beautiful

 

Are there features that set this game apart from Pokemon? I'm currently playing through Pokemon Moon on my 3DS, so I wonder whether this game is made to scratch that Pokemon itch for people who don't ou can't play the real game...

I would have instabought this before, but Pokemon Go's frustrations drove me to give up and buy the Nintendo 3DS last year...

So does anyone know how similar/different from Pokemon this is gameplay wise?

 

@salara214ever Dev meant that there are monsters you do not meet in the wild, as they function as characters in the story.

 

No, story legendaries mean that they are part of the overall plot. you dont need them to finish the story at all

Nexomon is nothing like pokemon go. It plays like the classic pokemon games.

@triwolf you could describe it as a very loving recreation of the classic pokemon playstile, very well tailored for mobile, what makes handling the menus or battling incredibly comfortable. PLUS you can carry it around on your phone ##

 

I actually meant the current generation of Pokemon, Sun and Moon. Pokemon Go is only the reason why I bought the 3DS, I'm aware this is completely different.
