With regards to the quality of Nexomon, just know that the Official TouchArcade and Forum Toucharcade are two separate entities and definitely two different stances. We've got your back. True, there are things that can be improved but we trust that you guys are committed to do the improving as much as possible. Even if the development cost is not covered and your company decides to shut down, please be proud that you guys did an excellent job, and carry that pride in your other endeavours in life.
That's because the developer submitted them weeks ago. Update approval takes time, especially right now when everyone, their mother, and their cousin Bob is trying to jam through 64-bit updates before the boom drops.
Eh so anyone else talk to the fishing guy and he shows you how to fish and tells you when you see bubbles that means you can fish there but there's no rod anywhere in your bag and there's no bubbles anywhere? I've ran around and haven't seen any bubbles what so ever, I also figured the fishing rod he gives you would be in your bag too.
Finally finished the game last night! I don't think I have enjoyed a RPG this much for a long time. The story is quite standard but I love the small bit of surprise at the very end I'm not stop playing till I get all monsters For anyone who thinks this game deserve more than 3.5 star that TA review gives, please leave a 4-5 star review on app store and write something positive! IMO app store reviews have bigger impact than TA review PS: The catch rate is not terrible for me at all. I have no trouble catching any super/ultra/mega rares. The most I have to try is about 15 I think, but majority was below 10. Of course, if the patch make it even easier, I won't complain
Don't cancel, just in case it really is taking 7-10 days to go through the process. It often does, or even a little longer. Those apps coming out with constant updates may have just been submitting new ones while still waiting on the old to go through.
Of course people in this thread will disagree with such a mediocre review, but I find it justified because of these points: - in its current state, the game does seem like a paid app that forces IAP down your throat: IAP buttons constantly on screen, and rare charm & exp share make progress a hundred times quicker. - catch rate is incredibly frustrating and I've no idea how that made it past beta testing. whether true or not, it's not farfetched that this is to sell more IAP. - at least half the attacks are useless, half the status effects (frozen, paralysis, bind, sleep) do exactly the same thing, attacks don't have power/accuracy infos... it makes battles far too simplistic and feel like a chinese knockoff version of pokemon - why not emulate pokemon even closer and add a bit of complexity to the battle system? - the variation in skills is pretty poor, pretty much all mons have the same skillset, and since there's almost no variation between mons, there's little reason to catch stuff other than collecting them all. I'm posting these because I like the game and think it has incredible (earning) potential if some smart tweaks are made by the obviously dedicated devs! Caught 200 mons so far despite the atrocious catch rates. some questions: 1. can you make the nexomon tower accessible post game for catching what's in there/levelling up? also the nexolords house should be accessible post game 2. what does the speed stat do exactly? chance to go first? evasion? 3. what happened to fishing? never found fishing spots anywhere. 4. could you place the warp totems closer to/in cities? some of their positions require unfun amounts of backtracking.
No worries, was just asking. Will still pick up on Payday anyways. However... that would make me eternally smile as I use the MFi controllers a lot these days hahahaa
It's here! It's FINALLY here! Update 1.3 should be available in most stores by now. Download now and save the world from the mighty and ruthless Nadine! This update fixes critical bugs such as: • iCloud should be working now. • New catch rate formula! Low health (when the wild Nexomon’s HP bar turns red) and status alignments (poison, bind, etc.) increase your chance to capture rare Nexomon. We also increased the chance to capture super rare Nexomon and above (just slightly, it should be easier but not super easy). • Crashes during the final battle with Omnicron (and other boss battles) fixed. • Crash when multiple Nexomon level up at the same time fixed. Update 1.4 is almost done, we should upload it by the end of this week and then it will go through Apple’s review process. Please look forward to it! This one includes: • New rarity tags. • Settings menu with sound options and text sound option. • Re-balanced skills miss rate. • EXP and coin earning are slightly easier. • Evolutions will receive a bump in stats. • Rebalanced buffs/de-buff skills. • Rebalanced recovery skills (HP and stamina). • Support items are more effective. • Confusion skills will be a little bit more limited. • Other minor bug fixes. Very happy the update arrived. Was taking a break playing this until then but now, back to catching mons.
Yay! Edit: have you thought about showing names for the trainers you fight on the road in the battle loading screen? Nothing important, but i think it would further improve the overall appearance of the game. Btw : great work on improving the catch rates # it feels way better now!
I have an idea/ request for one of the best and more fair pvp/arena I've experienced in another game I feel would work well in nexomon, is there is specific email or somewhere (besides this forum) I can share with the appropriate people who decide and implement these things ?
