Thanks for this. Have been farming the spot for an hour but no sign yet of Frulf. Good experience for my team though. On a separate note I had my first evolution......
Short question to the devs: can we expect the few lines of lore about each monster in the database anytime soon?
Anyone know where to find these mega rares: Perchara, fluzard and ferosera Also need help on finding the fire starter as it's the last one I need to have all starters. Thanks for helping
I already understand the complaints about catch rates. A level 2 "rare" monster at 1 HP took 4 attempts to catch. That's no good. Looking forward to the fix! Also, does it get easier to grind XP later on? These early dudes are giving me virtually no XP, so leveling the few monsters I have is a fruitless endeavor.
Wait a sec! Mega Rares are legendaries now? I thought Ultra rares are even more rare and legendaries above that... And to the xp issue: Not using the xp "share" makes lvling way too slow and tedious and using it makes it a bit too easy! It's impossible to balance a game around both 1x Experience gain and 6x Experience gain at the same time...
Wait mega rares are legendaries?! I haven't been catching them because I thought you said ultra rares are more rare. Oops I've been non catching them and was just going to go back later for them. Oops.
I caught that too. I really have no idea what the rarities are at this point based on conflicting statements (made by the same person). I'm not even sure rarity matters beyond how often they appear. I'm noticing that most of my critters tend to have pretty close stats at the same levels. And evolving seems to do nothing for stats as well (it seems to be solely an image change with no further benefits). Also, the moves are largely the same across many critters. Other than elemental strengths and weaknesses, there does not seem to be much strategy in choosing a team right now. What made Pokémon so great was that each monster was so unique with wildly varying move-sets and stats. I hope this changes as I progress through more of the game (or that the dev changes this with existing monsters or future content) as my excitement is quickly waning due to the virtually identical critters I've seen so far (I've collected 102 so far).
I've legit been skipping all mega rares because I figured they're less rare and that I'd go back later on. To think they could be legendaries? Ah no wonder they look so cool. Like that blue wolf mega rare lol.
Oh wait, I believe all ultra rares are starters and the mega rares are legendaries in the wild. Makes sense why if you click rarities sort in the nexo center. It puts ultra rares above mega rares. Pretty sure all ultra rares in game are starters and there evolutions. You can also get ultras in the wild (which my whole team basically consists of) Wild goes rare, super rare, mega rare.
I think they just messed up their own terminology there^^ he probably wanted to say that these "legendaries" are mega/very rare or sth # We gotta wait till Monday probably to find out. And I got 52 so far and noticed quite a bit difference in the moves they can learn. Some water nexomons might have the Frost bite for example to Freeze enemies while others have more the pure dmg moves. But yes, it could use more variety. Haven't seen a heal move yet for example. And I haven't noticed the stats being similar after evolving them... would be a bit disappointed!
