Well, itunes connect was supposed to have had a problem yesterday, but I don't know why the lurking mjmoco wouldn't respond?
Hmmmmm NGmoco... I cant help but hate the way they tease! Its stardefense all over again! Chillingo doesnt work like this!
Have you ever worked? I'd imagine it's because they're not authorised to speak for the company. As well, I suspect those checking do not have it as part of their job description to answer questions on the Internet about a product that is 24hrs late in shipping. Ridiculous the impatience of some people
Chillingo is decent, but they publish too many crap games, and almost never have enough polish on their good games (when moregames isn't involved). They need to be more selective about what they publish, because there are some BAD games in that catalogue.
yup, and that would be why he is the only one who has spoken. Not really sure why there's an expectation they provide this forum with detailed updates every hour or so...
That's not the expectation at all! The fact is they provided no information whatsoever until about 11:30pm PST on the 1st of July!! That's not a good look. And what's more they were watching this thread at various times throughout the day.
2 ngmoco! Just tell me one thing please! Can we expect the release of R2 today? This is the only thing that i want to know. Thanks
i think it's just very cheeky to provide no infomation what could've caused the delay. neils answer indicates that the game maybe was rejected last minute style because of any tiny bug, like it happened with car jack streets. otherwise, what could they probably do if the delay was apples fault, i mean giving a release date looks like they already got the "go" from apple. but what makes me really mad is the fact that they made me, and sure some other guys, wait the whole damn day and check the appstore every half an hour for rolando 2 to appear and then not even giving us a short explanation what happened. ngmoco..very PUNK!!!
11.30pm on the day it was due out, yes? That's actually pretty good public relations, I wouldve thought. Plus, it's likely they don't know much more about it than we do. If it releases one day late, I don't think anyone can really hold it against ngmoco
Yah this is really apples fault. I don't think ngmoco had any idea that apple would be stupid enought not to obey the release date that was requested. Ngmoco probably sat around like we did yesterday wondering where the hell their game was.... lol.
You think that giving the bad news to your customers twenty three and a half hours into the stated day of release is good public relations?? If they didn't know anything then all they needed to do was post saying exactly that, at least people would know they are working looking into it or whatever. I agree that a day late is just fine but they could of kept people in the loop about what was going on. Or what wasn't going on. Or even if they had no idea what was going on, it would have been nice to have some contact instead of them just watching the thread.
