While I agree that this is the end result - more demand due to longer wait time - I'm not so sure I'm willing to say it's malicious or intentional. There are a ton of things that could hold up the launch of an app. I'm willing to bet that the ngmoco leaders are not happy at this moment, rather than rubbing their hands gleefully. Just my own opinion, of course.

ALMOST as worse. Pocket god gives it's Costumers to many choices, so of course a bunch of tards are gonna be flaming over if they should ad useless stuff to the app. This on the other hand, is a major game sequel/update/awesome thing.

ngmoco, you still suck. There's no way that the game is going to stand up to all this hype when it comes out next week. There is NO possible way.
What time zone are you in? Is it July 2nd already where you are? I doubt it is for them, so there's still time for it to be released. Just be patient.
