Looking to be a great game, and a major step forward for the Rolando franchise in general. The 2.5D really does look quite nice. mjmoco, has a release date been decided upon yet ?
This game looks incredible.. the original Rolando is still the best app on my iPod (closely followed by Real Racing and Edge) and this one looks even better. Can't wait. Has the release date been confirmed yet ?
When can we make our own Rolandos?! The game is looking really good. I like the 2.5 D perspective and the levels look fun and long. Can't wait to see more and finally buy the game.
I have a feeling that this game will be released on the 28th of June. Simply because it'll be two days after the final video demonstration of the last Rolando world.
I hope so as the 29th is the day that I begin my long 6 weeks away from wifi (have an iPod not an iPhone). But I doubt it as ngmoco usually does more advertising outside of their site.
I don't think so. They are offering free updates for Rolando all the way up to the release of Rolando 2, I think they have two to three more Rolando updates left to push out. The way Apple has been with updates lately (average of seven days to push an update has become two to three weeks) it might be a while.
True, but not unless they push out all the secret levels in one update which is basically 1.9 thus, Rolando 2.0 coming. I guess I could be wrong, but we'll see how it pans out.
Yeah as I see it, 1.7 gives us two, 1.8 gives us two, 1.9 gives us the last two, then 2.0 comes along - ironically this would work quite nicely with the amusing idea of decimal versioning . Of course, I imagine R2 is going to be completely separate & a new icon so that doesn't really matter. There's also no reason why they can't keep releasing the R1 bonus levels after R2's release; gives motivation to go back and see 'how far we've come'. Meantime, videos look cool, looking forward to 1.7 and 2.0 both.
