In 2011 and so far, we saw the following:

    1) On touch control :D
    2) Never ending game
    3) Freemium model

What do you predict for one year from now?

A lot more attention to hardcore gamers -- more strategy & RPG games released, especially highly competitive ones.

Just look at what's moving into the top grossing charts to see where the herd will go next, heh. Today 4 of the top 5 grossing games are hardcore games

Also, marketing costs will go even higher (because the hardcore game companies can pay more to acquire users) and production values will go through the roof for freemium games.

The ray of light for indies will be the paid charts..
