Definitely combines managing and action/strategy in the best way I've ever seen in a footy sim. Other than Football Manager Handheld, New Star Soccer is probably my second most-played footy game. It took a while to build my player up, but I'm over 19 years in my career. And I've been at Chelsea winning everything for the past few years. Last season, I was finally able to get all three POY awards. It definitely takes time. And I began my career way back when it was still a premium game I think. But still, it's really fun to play.
Agreed. As for your question, I think it's more a fact of getting national team captainship, which takes longer. Or are you saying that you're the national team's captain but can't direct your team members during set pieces on the national team only? That'd sound like as bug then. Yeah, I must say, I like the new graphics on the in-game portions of the gameplay. Really nice looking! And the sounds are great too.
Is there a soccer game with the same in-match gameplay as New Star Manager but without all the team management?
I know one Dan in Tokyo ^^ Yes you can try tiki taka soccer or tiki taka world soccer, it’s a bit different but it’s very nice. There was another nice game two or three years ago but I totally forgot the name
