Really? I downloaded the PC version just to check, but I couldn't find much difference. Of course, I only played for a couple of minutes.
It is a youtube video, done by a handcam, maybe? How many pictures to you think can record a handcam per second or in how many fps is the video converted? Roughly 25 - 30 fps? O.k., agreed. So - right over to the conclusion: why are there framerate issues in the video? ... aaaaa-HA!

Usually game like this will target to release on summer time, kids are free to play games. Price, base on SE recently FF I & II releases, will be around $9.99.
PocketGamer even went as far to report an original FF game for the iPhone But then again everything on PG is an EPIC FAIL
Game's artwork I'd have to guess that Chaos Ring's character artist/designer is the same person who did the artwork for Front Mission 4? Anyone know? I recall the style from somewhere...
They reported Chaos Rings as an original RPG. They are however reporting that an original instalment of the Final Fantasy franchise is in development for iPhone and iPod touch by Square Enix.
Huh? Did I get that wrong? That means, Chaos Rings is comming - AND a new Final Fantasy game for the iDevices? That would be more than great news.
Just bare in mind that most of what pocketgamer says is utter rubbish. The 1 that comes to mind is when they "confirmed" Tekken for iPhone, only for Namco to deny its existence in an update to the same post! Until Square Enix confirms they are making an original Final Fantasy for iPhone, I will remain sceptical. Anyway, back on the topic of Chaos Rings. I like the core idea of the tournament and playing through with different characters to complete the quest as long as they are different from each other. If its essentially the same for each (in terms of character abilities and locations), it will become a chore to complete the game. As for the cost, I have no doubt that this will be more than $10. Firstly they released ports of FF1 and 2 for $8.99 each. Secondly, they have also launched an artbook app for FFXIII, which costs $8.99, for literally a few rendered images from the game! There's no way an original RPG like this will be just $1 more!
Yeah I remember when ACII was released early and it was like 12 bucks. I think they me going around that sort of price range. And the way how I see it Square Enix don't believe in a lot of sales so don't expect a price cut on this or any of their other games soon.
If this does become one of the first app's over $10 to do well on the app store I will be one of the people who supported it with a sale It looks great, as long as it's worth the asking money I want it.
Pocket gamer says in the ring there is another game coming...is it final fantasy series or whaaaaaaaaat??????
