It looks like they're doing that thing where they release info every day for the final week until release, so hopefully it might come out on Monday.
Ok, I admit: fanboy! Damnit, they really show every little bit of the game before release. SE - I hate you for that. But you really seem to be in love with your little creation. I like that.
That first screenshot in that post is quite simply the most epic combat scene I have ever seen on the platform
*crosses fingers for this epic game* The only thing I care about is that it does not lag or have any buggy issues, the trailer doesn't look promising, I WANT MOAR!!!
I finally watched the trailer. Did I just see turn based combat and limit breaks??? Maybe we really do have the first legit JRPG on this platform. Does anyone know if this game has random battles?
I would be very surprised if they're getting more than 30 fps especially on older devices. But that's comparable with what you get on games like this on a PSP, so it shouldn't be an issue -- and in any event, those who have seen the ame in motion report that it is surprisingly smooth. I can almost guarantee that those with older devices will encounter sporadic crashes due to memory issues. Considering the amount of RAM available, that's pretty much unavoidable on a game of this (expected) magnitude. Perhaps this summer would be a good time to upgrade .
From what we've seen of the maps I think random encounters are in, and only boss encounters are displayed on the map (so like FFVII, FFVIII, etc)
