New Square Enix RPG - Chaos Rings [Trailer video now available]

Guess I put bored because when I start getting antsy with a game it usually means it's starting to bore me a bit.

I pretty much agree with you though, except about Chrono, that game was perfect and nothing was wrong with it. No matter what anybody says. *covers ears and eyes*

 

Sigh still no talk about release date? I'm guessing it's probably going to come out during the summer then?

The last SE game with a tactical combat system I played was The Last Remnant, and that game was LONG.

As primarily an RPG fan, the longer the game is, the better.

got more excited because when i searched for chaos rings in the app store no iphone game app appeared but Square Enix appeared in the developers results

Sadly,
Battles are turn-based
kills it for me.
Nothing against the game itself, I personally just really don't prefer turn-based battle. I was done with that after I finished playing pokemon on the GBA >.>

 

Have you tried Uniwar or Song Summoner?

 

Haven't heard of Uniwar, but I've been tempted to try Song Summoner, but TBH I use my iPod Touch mainly as a gaming unit... over 5GB of games. And it's iPod Touch 1G 8GB >.<
[Thus I have no songs]

 

in my case,it really makes me alive
i grew up playing Chrono Cross,FFVII and Suikoden
so don't ask me why i love this kind of games

 

Same here... I grew up with the NES, SNES, C64, Amiga, PCs..,
I played most of these games, like Chrono Trigger, the Final Fantasies, Secret of Mana and dozens of other games.
And now there's a SE game for my favourite handheld announced.
I am really looking forward to this.

You should add some songs if you play Song Summoner. You can create some special characters and you can level up those characters by listen to the song in iPod.

i'm really intrigued with Square enix appearing when i search 'Chaos Rings' in the app store

 

I hope it's true!!
But I'm worried it won't play smoothly on my iPhone 3G. More and more games - understandably - only run smoothly on iPhone 3GS.
