    Hi,

We have a new toucharcade forum theme available for early testing. It will become default, but wanted to get some final bugs/issues dealt with first.

If you are logged in, you can access it here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/?styleid=20

To revert back to the old style: http://forums.toucharcade.com/?styleid=18

    Features:

    1. Responsive
    2. Better integration with Games (icons, etc...)

    Known issues:

    1. Ads aren't properly working, so are presently off, but will come back.

    Arn -

So far, so good. I stretched Chrome out to see all the different responsive layouts and it looks great!

I... Don't like the new version. I prefer the clear segregation of the old style.

Are you looking for bug reports, or just trialing the new version?

I prefer the current/old style as well:
    - It is more clear: posts, threads, etc. are better separated, making it easier to read and scan. The "Excel table" style with the separating lines helps readability.
    - Takes up a lot less space: the new Theme gets maybe 3 posts on my Air, because there is so much whitespace at the bottom of each post.
    - One positive thing about the new one: the fonts are slightly larger.

If you want to make that default, it needs some improvement.
Do you plan to keep the old style as optional (hope so) ?

We are looking for feedback, and bug reports. It will become default. But wanted to make sure there weren't any show stopping bugs. We can work on reducing the whitespace a bit.

Hey Arn, I really like this theme. Works perfecto on mobile and makes the spam war easier.

    Thanks.

    EDIT: Can't PM.

I tapped on the link to the new theme in your first post. How do I change it back to the old theme? At least until the new theme will become default.

I agree with Nullzone in that the new theme takes up a lot of space.
    There's no multiquote option.
appinfo doesn't seem to work. In price drops threads the first post, that should have the appinfo of the game in question, is blank.
Some symbols from the iTunes descriptions show as "â—‡" and things like that.
You can go to "phantom pages" (pages that actually don't exist but show anyway due to deleted posts and things like that).
After posting a quick reply the thread doesn't get updated.
Hitting save after editing doesn't exit the html editor.

And a couple more I forgot. Do we get new functions with this new theme?

    Great feedback.

Can you point me to these phantom pages?

Since then the thread got more replies and doesn't have a phantom page anymore, but when I received the e-mail notification for the last reply in the previous page (page 4073) it sent me to 4074 instead, which was blank (no replies). The old theme instead sends me to the last page with a reply whenever this happens.

    Phantom page on new theme.

Also the box's lines of the HTML editor move along with the text when scrolling through the text.

The mobile version is missing a desktop version option (unless there's one and I just can't find it). Also, when going to one of the forums (or subforums), the option to go to another forum (just before "About Us") doesn't work properly. iPhone 4S with iOS 8.1.
