You see people here saying they'll wait for the next set of ZENFORMS but once a lot of people play it I'm sure after they've burned through the game, that a lot of those people will say they want more and more content. You should release the game as you planned and save the next set of ZENFORMS for the next update to allow even more things to do instead of giving it all at once.
Upon reading your post and graph i think you should go agead and add it to the game since it can't be an update. I know people will eventually be wanting more, but starting out with more content is wise (not to mention the secret evolutions, but i didn't say anything about that). It would be a better selling point 132 zenforms!> 93 zenforms!
I know it's a secret but... So on the secret final zenforms if I understand correctly wouldn't that actually mean everyone would end up with four of the same twelve final zenforms? Correct me if I'm wrong but this is what it seems, and in this case you would actually be reducing the final amount of variations from 36 to 12? Just wondering if I got this right.
@Yeater42 : I'm confused how you guessed that. I don't think you understood the graph right. Each Newborn will have 39 possible evolutions (using the new graph- 30 without the new zenforms added). In the guides posted on page 10, the last 2 stages are in groups of 4 making it easier to display. Going into Adult stage, the ZENFORM can branch into 1 of 4 elements (represented by different blocks in the graph on page 10). Each one of those elements gets a single evolution into Grand Stage. The secret evolutions was something I haven't revealed. I done a bit more explaining here: http://www.calisprojects.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=24&pid=134#pid134 I think I'll release an evolution video tomorrow and explain it a bit better on the video itself.
I say do the update only if it's as easy to acquire the fourth evolution as it is to acquire the other 3. (maybe having a way to stop the evolution from happening would help)
Ha, it could also be how I'm explaining it dude. I made a video which I hope clears up some confusion. This will explain how ZENFORMS grow and evolve. It's not like pokemon. They don't earn exp. So check it out ;-) (How do I embed videos here? Any ways, link there) http://youtu.be/2r7SNP9eI6g
To embed videos, simply use the video code at the end of the URL, in this case "2r7SNP9eI6g". Inset that into [ youtube ] code here [ /youtube ] So it will look like this but without the spaces: [ YouTube ] 2r7SNP9eI6g [ /youtube ] Without the spaces it looks like:
Neo-Dragon posted a question to you in our official forums, so I will just quote him here: Please let us know what you think about it!
I'd rather have the feature videos, which are informative about the games mechanics, but also have neodragon continue to be active in the forums, and maybe check in every week to let us know how the development process is going
So we decided to get the new ZENFORMS. Because you guys helped us pick, I wanted to share the ZENFORMS with you. The first ZENFORM is a Adolescent ZENFORM, and the other 4 evolve from this ZENFORM at the Adult stage based on 1 of 4 elements. The elements in order of the image are: Earth, Water, Wind and Fire.
so, for type advantages/disadvantages, I'm guessing that Earth beats Water, Water beats Fire, and Fire beats Earth. So where does Wind fit into all of this?
