Just a quick note to say that I cannot get this working on my iPad - even with rebooting the device. The next step is to delete and reinstall, but I haven't had a chance to do that yet. On my iPad, the game gets to the main menu and then just freezes right there. No buttons on the menu are working, and the 2x button also doesn't work. Is this a known issue? Thanks. --DotComCTO
What OS are you on? I don't own an iPad so if there's only one version I apologize. The menu bug seems common, I actually had it and was able to get it to work eventually. The good news is the next version (according to Theorian) will fix this issue.
My iPad is on iOS 3.2.2 - *not* jailbroken. Well, glad to know it's a known issue that will get fixed, but in 6 attempts, I have yet to get the game to launch beyond the menu. Thanks for the info! --DotComCTO
I know others have successfully run NanoMechs on their iPads so interesting you're still having issues. I'm sorry you're having issues, hopefully there is a solution. I know an iPhone user had the same issues and he got it to work by restarting, but I'm not sure if that would work on the iPad. Theorian has also posted that he's working on an iPad version so hopefully that comes out with this next update, that would be awesome. The graphics in NanoMechs are really good, they'd look amazing on an iPad.
I'm going to try deleting the app and reinstalling it...and then rebooting it after the install. Perhaps that will help. I will have to check whether the app produced a crash log. If so, I can send that via PM. Thanks again. --DotComCTO
