      I tried preordering from Apple and they said the iPods would ship in October. They didn't give a specific date.

      I was thinking of getting one but I've just been looking at tablet prices and I realised I can get a Nexus 7 , a Samsung Tab 7 or even a Samsung tab 10.1 64gb 3g for less money.

      Pretty hard to justify the iPod price after seeing that.
