So I've been saving up my money for a couple months now in hopes of purchasing the near inevitable 3rd generation iPod touch this September. Now that the Apple event has been announced for Sept. 9th I've been wondering. On average, based on the idea they announce a new iPod Touch Sept. 9th, around when will it be available in stores? Thanks in advance!
I don't remember what day Apple announced the iPod Touch in their keynotes, but here are release dates in the last 2 years: They have both been early september, so that may be a clue.
It can be available the same day or take atmost a week after sept 9 event. That's how it usually is but don't quote me on this. Edit: @Zincous. IIRC last year the event was held on sept 7.
