Hi, I had an idea a couple weeks ago (see it here: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=24495&page=2) and I just came up with an even better one. First, I know I seem like all I'm doing on this forum is thinking of ways to increase are sales which I am, but this is a really good idea. This idea is to increase sales just like the other one. This one builds off of that idea. What I want to do is make a simple website (maybe using iweb) entitled appoftheday.com or whatever is a available. What we are going to do is obvious, post a new app of the day on the website. The apps posted will be submitted and chosen by devs. Now the brilliant part of this idea, is that we could have a mailing list like a "word of the day" type thing where everyday an email gets sent out with that days app of the day with a description, link, icon, and screenshots. Also we could make a free app out of this with push notifications that creates a pop up when we update the website with the app. Can some people comment or mention if they would like to help. BTW: I think everyone on this forum would join the mailing list and download the app.
It sounds like a pretty good idea. Im also an iPhone dev and I would love to be part of something like this as long as it doesn't involve too much of my time.
