We just released the first version (0.9) of our Game Trailer App. We would love to get your feedback. The App is free, search for The Game Trail. It can be a useful tool if you want to check the gameplay for an iPhone title or want to find your next game. Post comment here and I will check in and add them to our priolist. App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.
How often are videos updated within the application? Are these videos uploaded to your site by users? I just want to know if you will be able to see videos of NEW games the day they come out, or the next day, or if you will have to wait a while to see videos of the new stuff.
Hi 3rdamention, Thank for your question. We update the video content everyday. Users can suggest games and videos from the App or the site and we will add it if the game rates high enough (On our metascore based on several different sources).
Just wanted to updated this thread abit. We have come along way since the release and we have seen a steady rise in users. There is a big update coming soon with some really nice features so stay tuned
Version 1.3 submited. We have just submited an update of The Game Trail to the Appstore. This update will bring a "Free Games" tab with the best free games on the Appstore and games that are free for the moment. Better overview of new games since your last visit and alot more to help you find the best games for your iPhone. If you for some reason haven't dowloaded our awesome app then do so now! Whats new in version 1.3: * New Free Games Tab * Searches on "free" now display all games that are free for the moment * New games since the last time you started the app are marked with a "!" * New Recommend feature * Updated for iOS 4 * Bug fix on iPad where the app could crash when trying to access the App Store * The price of the games are shown in the listings making it easier to find free games. We have seen a steady increase in users over the last couple of months, and we are constanlty looking at ways to improve the App. We are now working on the next update of The Game Trail, that will bring some more cool features that we didn't have time for in this latest update. More info to come
