Sony just needs to let it slide and release updates that actually do something for a change. They take long enough that I should expect as much.
Sony has overstepped. Trying the case across the country? Requesting the names and IP adresses of everyone who has commented on the youtube video? It's completely out of bounds.
I think the only reason Sony are pursuing this to such an excess is that it's embarrassing for them how wide their console got cracked open. I may be wrong, but I don't think any other console has ever been exploited in this way, it's pretty ridiculous to think it's even possible.
Ill admit it, although the ngp is more appealing to myself, i find it hard to argue with anyone who sides with nintendo, it just cant be done.

Too long makes you look like a woman... too short makes you look like an imprisoned gay woman. Probably depends a lot on where you come from too, you can look at a guy's hair in London and instantly know he's the kind of asshole that staggers out of a bar at 3am drunk as all hell, trying to take photos up the skirt of a pregnant 16 year old. I do quite dig the epic rockstar hairdo when people are actually performing, but if you're not a rock star it might not work so well. I've gone with a safe medium, maybe a bit towards the longer side but we're not talking Norwegian death metal here, more of a 70s Stones look. At least I play an instrument
I think long can be fine, as long as you're not conditioning it and feathering it or whatever and pretty much maintaining it like a women; because then it does look like it belongs on one. You're right on the location thing, it's almost the opposite here in a rural area. Pretty much everyone has short sensible hair, so anyone against that grade sticks out like a sore thumb. Up until a couple of days ago, I sported something in similar length to what you describe yours to be, a kind of shoulder length mane that's long without going overboard. But I had to cut most of it off because I was being threatened with a hairnet. Now it's just a mop again.
