This sounds like fun to me. Someone proposes a topic and two people go at it, no personal stuff, making fun off or offensive language; to make a FEW people happy. Just straight up fun debating. I'll start, I'll propose a topic and someone can argue about it whoever wins moves on and someone else argues on a new topic. Alright, first topic- this is popular right now and easy to come up with, psp2 v 3DS. I'll let you( in general ) pick the side.
No, it doesn't, but it has two screens. Two screens are better than one screen, because two is more than one.
I'm just going for 3DS for its starting lineup. Snake Eater, a new Paper Mario, a new Resident Evil, and plenty more to get started with, plus the addition of 3D graphics. I'll be picking up an NGP at some point too, I know it, but I'll be starting with a 3DS.
Are those all confirmed to be available at launch? I've been cursing my poor googling skills whilst trying to find out what I can actually pre-order with my 3DS and expect to turn up with it
what was your random outburst about phoenix wright? is it any good. never liked those type of games. But yeah RESIDENT EVIL ON 3DS
I have an idea: A new topic is introduced at the top of every page. This will give a wide variety of debate topics and keep debates from turning into huge personal vendettas.
Yes but the selection of games on a 3ds are so limited and minimal to that of a psp2 which has much more power. Also the 3d is sad to be a risk to the eyes and many people will not like that.
Haha it was a while back, I freaked out because someone asked if they should get Phoenix Wright. And it's one of the most amazing games I've ever played, and by far the best on the iDevice. Even if you're not into adventure games, give it a shot. The storylines and excellent writing and characters will keep you sucked in for hours.
In what way are they limited and minimal? Graphically? Also the NGP is said to be a risk to wallets and many people will not like that. You can turn the 3D off on the 3DS. Risk gone.
They both have their strong points, but I'm going for 3DS. I hate 3D most of the time, but I love Nintendo games more than games that'll show up on the PSP, as a whole. I had my DS since it first came out, up until this year, playing it on occasion. I sold my PSP in less than 6 months cause the quantity of quality games just wasn't there. Sure, the PSP2 will have a few games that are tempting but the 3DS will have Ocarina of Time, which is auto win in my book.
The price of the psp2 is still uncertain, competition will drive it to be cheaper. And what is the point of having 3D if you have it turned off, and when it's turned on, it is said to be dangerous. Altogether nintendo made a bad choices and showed of focused on power rather than something somewhat useless.
There are a lot of uncertainties about the NGP, but I think a high price is pretty predictable. Take a stroll down memory lane and check out the prices of some of Sony's old consoles, they're generally pretty expensive, certainly more-so than Nintendo consoles. And I think, if I'm deciphering that second part correctly, you want to say Nintendo should have focused on power rather the 3D tech. That's kind of like saying they should ditch Mario from their line-up too. Power has never been a priority for Nintendo in creating their consoles, so why would that change now? In recent years, they've shown a trend to do new and innovative things with their consoles, focusing on the gaming experience rather than shiny graphics. Sure, if you want to be really cynical about it you could argue they're just substituting graphics for gimmicks; but I prefer to see them doing something different from the competition, regardless of their reasons for doing so.
Alright, I can take a loss, good debating actually, I guess your shots at me are well backed up with some good reason, although; i think outside the box, this topic was more straight forward. You can pick a new one and go on to someone else, I have home work to attend to.
