great job, very realistic gravity and movements, what would be fun is if there was a hoop or something you could make the ball go into
To elaborate on pablo, in a not as complimentary way, It would be nice if there was SOMETHING to do. Also, there is some lag between when I move my device and when the ball moves. No, the possibilities are not endless, this app gets stale within 20 seconds of actually playing this, if this is meant to be a timekilling app, mission NOT accomplished. Also, you put in free for a limited time? Good luck getting any downloads with a price tag on it.
Thanks for you opinion. We are continuing development, of course, and appreciate feedback! I can assure you that we won't be charging for the app without some significant feature additions. That being said, we think it has some fun features in its current form! You may have a better opinion of the app if you consider it for what it is rather than what it isn't. Awesome Ball is a toy, not a game. You'll have a lot more fun with it if you play with the customization features rather than wondering where the hoop is! wow kinda harsh, its not bad, a good app to play around with a little (remember, is pocket god much different in the fact it is just to play around with). No doubt i love pocket god but this app has potential. keep updating and it will be great! good luck!
^^ This just proves the pure stupidity of people. If pocketgod, an app with little to no actual entertainment value can be number 1, I guess your right, this could be up there too, provided they come out with something to do other than the actual core element of this app.
LOL I'm not stupid and I like Pocket God! It's actually a good timekiller for a minute or so. So is this, but this is more of a toy to show off the iPod to your friends. You shouldn't grade it on the same scale as a game - it's NOT a game. Plus, it's FREE!
not everyone shares your same views on pocket god being entertaining, and that does not make them stupid. some people don't like to play games on their phones, and this gives them entertainment. pong is a very simple game but it seemed to have done very well, some people just like simplicity. i appreciate this devs work on this app, and I can't wait to see what it turns into.
Games, like music, are based on test. Some people like classical. They'll go nuts over the composers that died centuries ago. I like a handful of pieces, but classical just isn't my style. I'm more of Skid Row/Red Jumpsuit Apparatus person. Does this mean rock is better than classical. Noooooo. I just like it better. Same thing with games. Let's pretend Pocket God slimly fits into the margins of what defines a game (a game needs a goal, and PG doesn't really have one, unless you count giving us fun is one, then it is indeed a game). Not everyone likes the genre. I mean, someone might play Resident Evil, Halo, and Dead Space and not really appreciate the ooo sooo coot widdle pygmies. yes, they are coot, yes they aaaaare.... *ahem* Yes, well, that's just my opinion. Like I said; taste. It's all based on taste.
