How does it play with that virtual joystick? It's so close to the edge of the screen. And what about reloading?

Wow so far it's just like duck hunt with a joystick instead of "aiming"... The graphics are almost 1:1 from the original, the only downside is no sound... I was hoping for the original sounds. But for a dollar it looks and plays like duckhunt so I would grab this one before the big N does...

  9. no sound ?!

    ughies !

thank you for the heads up

Just make sure it's on your phone and your iTunes, that way if apple does pull it you still have it in your iTunes... I have about 4 or 5 apps that have been pulled but are still on my iTunes and phone.

Isn't it the same for music purchases? If you crash and reformat and never backed it up, your screwed. So if the app is gone, no way to redownload it. I wonder if there's a chance a future update to the iPhone could ban the game, if they go that far.

There should be files located on your computer you can backup, and usually double clicking it adds it back into iTunes.

Not necessarily, if you back up your mobile applications folder in your iTunes than you will still have it. Then you can reformat and put that folder back in iTunes...

  15. seriously

    not many sounds either

    the bullets firing

    the ducks flapping their wings

and that stupid dog laughing at you >_< !

    maybe a few more

Makes you wonder how this slipped through Apples approval process. I've downloaded this game and it's virtually identical to the Nes classic. Would Apple have approved it if it was a port of the original Mario Bros?

Now THATS an App. All we need to do is convince Nintendo that no-one cares about their NES games anymore so let us have them

The same way some other games using IPs without permission were allowed:

    Apple didn't really check.

There's a game called "Catch the Thief" or something along those lines that has Granny (of Warner Bros. Sylvester and Tweety fame) as one of the characters. There's a Lode Runner type game from a JP developer that has Charlie Brown as the main character. And now there's this.

Wow, Apple. Brilliant. You let crap like this through but poo poo on games with blood and gore. Oh, sure, possible lawsuits don't matter, but god forbid I can shoot zombies that bleed red.

  20. did you really just call Duck Hunt... crap ?!
