Dont you have VAT included in that prices? If thats the case then it sounds perfect to me.

Being in the UK I already thought we were being overcharged compared to elsewhere but at least I've already a lot of games to play.
It's not much of a raise but it's probably enough to stop my urge purchases in honesty.

I don't know actually. I'm in the U.S. :p It's 6% in KY, so every $0.99 app is actually $1.06. Brits still have to pay five more.

Thats very weird. Oddly new Netflix price plans were announced yesterday that will raise my monthly rate from $9 to $16 for the exact same plan. Maybe it's worldwide "kick the digital content consumer" week?

You know what would be cool...having a sort of netflix streaming thing except with Itunes. You would get everything like apps, movies, songs free for a premium price every month. The moment you stopped the service you would lose all the stuff you got during that time frame. Probably wouldnt work but would still be pretty cool.

From what I have noticed so far
    59p is now 69p +10p
    £1.19 is now £1.49 +30p
    £1.79 is now £1.99 +20p
    £3.99 is now £4.99 +£1.00
    £4.99 is now £5.49 +50p

    Doesn't seem right to me

Yeah, the new prices feel strange. It'll take a while to get used to them.
If there's anything good to come out of this I probably won't buy as many apps now, or at least wait for sales more often.
