Hi everyone, So we've upgraded the AppInfo tag that provides app information and screenshots for games. Now we've integrated TouchArcade.com ratings (when there is one) as well as user ratings. So you can rate games yourselves. The ratings are public. And we will offer a way to sort and view ratings in aggregate in the near future. example: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=33048 arn
Like it! Very professional, and finally a quick link to AppShopper Does this mean the Game Impressions thing is on the way too?
Wht exactly does one write to get the New AppInfo look like that? Also, I do not know it this is the right place to ask... but I'd like to have the checkbox of want it from Appshoppr to be embedded too, because I do not have access to iTunes @ office, I can tell its difficult to incorporate tht than adding a hyprlink to the appshoppr itself. EDIT : I found out....
arn if you're still eyeing this topic, when you say "we will offer a way to sort and view ratings in aggregate in the near future." ...do you mean we'll be able to view a list of games by rating, or we'll be able to look at user profiles and see which games that member has rated personally? I quite like the idea of people being able to see which games I like without me having to tell everyone.
I noticed a bug while checking it out in the Hook Champ thread. When you load the page, it says screenshot 1/4 but as soon as you change screenshots it says screenshot 2/5 (it has 5 total screenshots, it just didn't display that originally for some reason)
Any chance you can make it so that it covers the whole width of the page? Either that or centre them which shouldn't be too hard. It would just look cleaner.
can we see which games members have rated by looking at their profiles now? or is that still being worked on, I don't see anything in user profiles
I'm assuming we're just gonna let devs vote on their own games, as I mentioned in the Spider topic (here)... I don't think any of them would go to huge lengths to ruin the system and it's gonna happen way too often to bother cracking down on it. After all, if you can see it's the dev that voted, it's not really a shill is it?
Can you update your ratings, like you rated a app 3 stars, but want to rate in 4 stars after a update, can you do that?
Ok, you can, but after a update will the ratings be erased because if it's a major update then it might have lots of 4 stars rating and should havemore 5 stars and most people will not rerate.
