December 21, 2012 is a date shrouded with controversy and doom. This date marks the end of the Mayan Long Count calendar, which supposedly can record any day in history from the beginning of humanity to the end. So whats going to happen on the 21st? A myriad of events including increased solar flare activity on the sun, magnetic pole reversals, planets aligning, and the Sun lining up with the center of the Milky Way; something that occurs once every 25,800 years!
