O come on. Any game COULD be 80+ hours. Stop exaggerating it. Yes zeononia is fun, yes, but not fun enough to play that much. First play through will take the longest as you learn your character/puzzles. 2nd play through will be a little new assuming you choose new class and new path, but it is still basically the same experience, and will go much faster than the 1st play through. the 3rd time, youll be an expert, know how to level your character, and will fly through the game, assuming you WANT to again. All 3 playthroughs will top OUT at maybe 40 hours. Not 40 hours per session.
Oh, is that so? So your saying I could spend 80+ hours on iCopter or Paper Toss? I don't think so. So no not every game has 80+ hours of gameplay.
I had to pick between Real Racing and Zenonia, and I picked Zenonia because of the promise of lots of hours of gameplay, all the positive reviews and that I generally prefer RPGs to Racing Games (like I said, generally). It comes down to whether you prefer a nicely tailored graphical expirience or a simple game with a plot and a good/evil path (as I don't have Real Racing I don't have much to say about it).
+1. I highly agree. I dont care about all of the extra modes/difficulties/re-plays. Zenonia is a 20-30 hour game, and that is if you go through it 2 times (at least for me it was). I dont understand why everyone acts as if it is so much longer than that. It is a fun RPG with much to do, especially considering it is a mobile game. However the only way you will squeeze 80 hours out of it is if you are a video game illiterate, or you play through it 4-5 times.
Yes they never end cause they are entertainment/time waster apps!!!! They're not supposed to have unlockables and lots of depth to them, they're just simple time wasters.
Well, I have both. Here's my take RR is in every way an amazing achievement. Nothing significant to criticize at all. Zenonia has problems. For me they are: 1) No way to move diagonally. 2) The usual lackadaisical approach to localization. If those two things are rectified, Zenonia will be fun to play. At the moment I have deleted it.
hey ben, if you want to buy you're unsure of and already miss the glory of first buyers, you'd better wait for around 2 months first and see if people are still recommending it. Most of the times they're just raving about it because it's new. So from those list, Assassin's Creed and Zenonia are safe to buy because they've been out for a while. Give Real Racing another month and see if people still like it. If so, get it then. If you have iPhone 3G S, you may want to wait for Asphalt 5. It might not be the best racer ever, but it would be the only racer to fully take advantage of your 3G S hardware for the time being. I'm myself never a big fan of Asphalt though.
I agree completely. It seems that every new game is " best on the appstore" . I think I will get Zenonia and wait for FIFA/madden 10 as I am fan of sports games. I suppose I will end up purchasing every good game eventually, I just need to sort them from the pile of hyped games on these forums. On a side note I can't wait for Livefire, best game ever I'm sure.
Me too, I'm often cynical with new and hyped games in TA, but truly good games stand the test of time and I want to have them all as well. If you can wait for FIFA 10, please do. If not, X2 Football is a good game while waiting for October to come. I'm anti-hyped-game, so you can trust me that it's not just because X2 is new. And yes, I have both X2 and Real Football. Not sure about Livefire, not my game
The easiest ways to get into the game are: a.) Stay around the first village and kinda fight in the surrounding forest. Alot of level 1 slimes which won't do much at all. b.) Play some older games that are quite like this one. You'll find alot on the SNES and a few on the GBA. Some examples are Secret of Mana for SNES, Sword of Mana for GBA and any of the older Zelda games. They're a bit easier to get into and if you like any of those games you should like Zenonia. And they're old too so just grab an emulator and give it a shot. Otherwise they're probably pretty cheap due to age.
Let's golf has a lot of replayability and content for the 1.99 price it's at. Snail Mail is also 1.99 and has a TON of content.
