Argh...I have to wait until I get home and have wifi to download the update. I missed my one and ONLY chance of ever being on the top of the leaderboards!
there is a problem with the points after the game i win a one on one hard game (quick game) 10:6 but only get 4 (instead of 14) points for hq damage and zero points for enemy units destroyed. i could also see the numbers count up but then they changed to zero otherwise great update. EDIT: i didn't understand the scoring at first... there is no problem! sorry and congrats on this fine update
Hmm...sounds like maybe you guys are backpedaling a bit on implementing online multiplayer? I certainly hope not...it is a shame so few board games implement some kind of online multiplayer.
the 3 coolest armies are in my opinion: Vegas - because with them you can take over enemy units Neojungle - because they have this cool motherland that connects all units for bonuses Doomsday Machine - because it's just so damn crazy the other ones have cool details,too... so every army you guys include will rock
Well I'm not the dev but it's more likely a revaluation. Getting the IAP in the game sooner means the devs will have revenue to spend on features like online play. Also, the new IAP have lots of new rules (especially Babel-13) so it would be smarter to get it in before online than risk spending the money to add the IAP after online and potentially break everything Just my two cents
Which I totally understand. But this quote: I sort of read as "after the IAP we will decide whether or not we will add online multiplayer." Although it could mean that they will think about how they're going to add the multiplayer. Just hoping for some clarification, is all.
After the initial learning curve (never played before so I don't know all the units)... this is quite possibly one of my favorite iOS games. Solid, polished implementation of a well rounded strategy boardgame. And the addition of universal has made it even better. Absolutely worth the money.
GREAT job with this update. In my first iTunes review, I said it was a four star game until online multiplayer was included, but I changed my review to 5 stars because the game is just that much better after this update. Looking forward to the IAP factions, and online multiplayer.
It's interesting how the new scoring has changed my play. Now i always try to be the one to destroy a HQ and fight for every single healthpoint of my own. I also don't sacrifice units as often as before.
@medianotzu, we're not backpedaling. We just want add some more variety to the game before adding multiplayer, to make it more attractive. So we want to add new armies as IAPs and the start working on multiplayer. We kept all our promises and we do everything we can to keep also this one And to all of you - thank you for supporting Neuroshima Hex! Thank you for all the comments here, on ou website and on iTunes. I would not be possible to work on NS Hex without your support!
No offense meant, I just wanted to make sure it was still in your plans. It was worded a bit cryptically in your last post on the subject. I'm very happy to hear it is still in your plans.
Played a few games now and starting to get the hang of navigating the game and also the basic strategies... SO GLAD I PICKED THIS GAME UP! It's great! edit: could someone please explain the scoring as well? Do I get Zero points in a loss?
