Just run it in the middle of work -- place. I am not sure if it were 1.1.0 or not as there is not version number anywhere to be found. I just can find a list of units with descriptions under "Armies" entry which, irrc, isn't there at the first place. I guess I am running 1.1 now.
THE GAMEBOARD IS IN RETINA DISPLAY! They didn't put that in the discription. It's nice. You can really see the artwork now. It's much better.
Yes, confirmed! Dang! They should have put this up for those RD-addicts, to generate some more sales.
Here's the long version copied from their new in game news section: News Version 1.1 "Built for comfort" Added features: easily accessible in-game Unit information panel in-game Undo button in-game access to Manual visualization of disabled/netted units visualization of modules taken over by The Outpost's Scoper support for multitasking and fast-switching screen does not go dark when the battle is on posting your score on Facebook twitting your score on Twitter 'AI thinking…' message shown in the corresponding AI's color News and Version Info view added (accessible from menu) many new tweaks in AI and UI areas Fixed bugs: game used to crash when entering the menu just after battle was started AI used to use Battle instant tile on the final turn, which is against the rules AI used to discard one of its last two tiles (or its last tile) when it didn't really have to AI's logic preventing valuable units from being discarded used to stop working after reusing the game AI used to start battle when it was only loosing points on it better usage of special units like Moloch's The Clown, Borgo's Net Fighter and The Hegemony's Transport by AI better usage of Net Fighters by AI better usage of instant Move tiles by AI when playing The Outpost (it doesn't do unnecessary moves any more) AI discards Battle instant tiles more often when playing or keeping them is a poor choice Version 1.01 - "Less features, more fixes" Added feature: Accept/Cancel buttons appear before starting the Battle after filling up the board Fixed bugs: pushing disabled tile AI hang-ups crash when using two Medic tiles some units were not attacking during battle Scoper was not following the rules (now AI plays better with The Outpost) AI was loosing the game in few trivial scenarios sometimes the last Battle did not happen 'Battle' text didn't appear in few cases problems with editing player's name on the iPad bad number of tiles left in to play if some were left in hand
OMG, guys, you're doing such a great job by posting on this forum faster than we can As for the Retina - board game and tiles are in Retina resolution, everything else will come in the next update.
Amazing update. Now it's really easy to learn it, I hope web reviewers update theirs reviews now. But, the last step is online multiplayer guys!!! hint hint!
I never even realized because I've been waiting all this time for this update, but does the game not have any stat tracking?
I just want to say thank you for the very detailed changelog that is now on the menu screen under the News button. It's nice to be able to see all the changes and fixes done to the game
@VeganTnT we try to keep you guys as well informed as we can If someone who still hesitates about downloading NS Hex reads this, then here's a still hot, fresh, extremely new trailer video for the 1.10 update. It shows some of the new improvements in a more 'dramatic' way More info on our website: http://www.neuroshimahex.com/623/version-1-10-built-for-comfort-is-out/
Nice, so that means stats will come in the future. Anyway, this update was a huge step up. The game looks great and it's so much easier to learn now.
sweet gonna try to play this one now. Before I was one confused hombre. Now with in game help it should be much more enjoyable experience.
Any chance the visualization on the netted/disabled units can be changed? I'd love to see an actual white net shown over the effected unit. It could slowly fade out and then slowly reappear so that the user can clearly see the unit but also see that it has been disabled from a unit casting a net on it. Just a thought
@VeganTnT, it didn't make much sense, we triend it. The main problem was you want to see what the netted unit skills and attacks are and with that net you simply can't. Even with fade in/out animation this would be a problem, because you'd have to wait for it to fade out to actually see something.
Showing disabled units is one of the things that make the game easier. When playing multiplayer it will only favor players who don't look closely at the board. Please don't add other requested things like showing the changed initiative of a unit. When you can see everything that influences a unit it makes the game less challenging, lowers the needed skill and raises the role of luck. Otherwise it's a great update. especially the stronger AI kicks ass
Great you like it, Tommi! As for now we're not going to add any new icons or stuff like that which would show the modified initiative. For the next month we're strictly dedicated to work on HiRez graphics and iPad supprot.
